I didn’t know you could purchase cotton candy grapevines. I don’t know where I would plant them though. I am not real good at growing grapes, hopefully this year will be a better crop.

Our Concords grape vines are at least 30 yrs old. I still have a hard time pruning out all that wood, I feel like I should be crying. I do juice a few concords for jelly and simple syrup (grab a glass, fill with ice, squeeze in a lime, drop in the rind, put about 2 TBSP syrup and fill the rest with Fresca (original). The most refreshing thing you'll have ever had. But I make my grape juice ready to drink in half gallon jars. Put in 2 heaping cups of cleaned, destemmed concords, sugar* and then fill with cold water, process in a steamer canner, take out to cool and then down into the garage.
    * if I was able to wait for the first frost then I usually only need about 1/2 c sugar in the half gallon but if I couldn't wait then I taste the grape and be sure to rub the skin of the grab around in your mouth and decide how much more sugar it might take. It's not a science it's just 55 years of doing it. Open the jar, pour through a strainer into the pitcher and let the jar sit atop the jar for about 1/2 hour you'll get at least another cup of juice. You bet you can drop by and have a glass and I'll show you the pictures of the process. (You just can't turn me into the extension svc for reasons that might scare you.) And tell you more ideas.
