Cutting ethiopian opal.

- Im cutting opal in this video. This piece of welo ethiopian opal is transparent enough to facet. This material is hydrophane which means it can absorb water. Its did absorb some water but dried out fairly quickly once i was finished cutting. During cutting the colors can disappear and the stone turns opaque due to the water getting on and in it.
