    It’s not a hot take he throws in the pocket better than anybody in a structured offense.

      Everyone knows drake is better in structure offense.

    As a Bears fan, I could see Poles trade down and get Maye.

    Caleb Williams: 37 games = 93 TD / 14 Int / 10,082 Yards / 169 Rating + Rushing: 966 Yards / 27 TD
    Drake Maye: 30 games = 63 TD / 16 Int / 8,018 Yards / 154 Rating + Rushing: 1,209 Yards / 16 TD

      Stats don’t matter lmao

      @@upsidedownlogic175 But stats do count. If his stats showed he threw 6 TD’s and 60 picks no one is going to draft him. Those numbers are HIS Resume, what HE accomplished on the field of play compared to what those other QB’s accomplished.
      Sure, we will see if he can do it again in the pros, but for now, those numbers show his potential.
      It's 50/50 if he will do well in the big league. But after watching him for 2 seasons I think he will be in the top 5. You may not want him on your team, but I do not want him on a team I hate.

      Talent matters, stats do not. Size, arm strength, and speed are things you can not teach. Drake is 4 inches taller, 40 pounds heavier, faster and has a much better arm.

    • @spiritualarchitect4276
      @spiritualarchitect4276 Před 5 měsíci

      @@Connect662 Where did you come up with those numbers? The fastest time I can find for Drake in the 40 is 4.65. The fastest for Caleb is 4.56. I also see Drake listed as 6'4, 330 pounds and 6'5, 220 pounds. Either way, that is not 40 pounds over Caleb who is listed between 215 and 218.

      Go look at Josh Allen Justin Herbert stats in college. It’s how your skills translate. Come on man.

    Move down to 2. Take Maye. Rookie wage scale. Extra picks. Next years Texans. Ball placement on all three levels. Height, armstrength, handsize. Works well within structure of offense but if play breaks down has the ability to make positive yards. Pro offense ready. No rpo needed. Offensive rookie of yr. Pick up tightend like the one you let go? Greg Olsen. A few good hog mollies for both sides of ball? Ya know that makes to much sense? Never happen? 🎉

    And Have another Zach Wilson

    • @loboyd691
      @loboyd691 Před 5 měsíci +6

      Yeah you're right. Wilson is about 6 feet tall with minimal arm strength who played in a weak, JV conference in college. Maye is about 6'6'' with a heck of an arm who could have gone to Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Ohio State ect. and chose NC for loyalty. Not an even close comparison.
