- Today we take a look at Amazon Delivery Station - DBI4, 122 Hedera Rd, Redditch B98 9EY.
We notice security watching us as we film the building opposite so we decide to see if they would respect the right of a photographer / drone flier.
We establish the boundary and then proceed with the video.
Amazon staff come out and try their best to stop the filming.

Came to you... 'Asked' you to not video them, or anyone else via drone, yet they approach a 'man with a camera' and still won't accept, when told, that they are the ones who came to camera and not the other way round.
Surely the message should be out by now that if you don't want filming then you shouldn't walk toward one or, alternatively, create your own privacy.
I like how you always manage to 'dismiss' them and, in general, these people seem to realise that they aren't going to win the argument and just slink back from wherever they came from.

0:28 Letting him hold the camera is one way to shoot the question "Can I help you" down in flames. Another way is to ask lots of photography questions such as "What ISO setting should I use."

I believe that if I were an Auditor that I wouldn't say one word to anyone that came up to me from any company until they completely gave me their name and explained their position with said firm. I would say that to them until they answered or walked away

Safety footwear appears to be pumps or trainers with the two guys who came out to say don't film the staff.
Maybe they have a rule no safety footwear outside,own pumps trainers or shoes when not in the building.
@@clairejohnson4643 that sounds silly, forklift trucks often work outdoors and you would certainly get crushed toes if one of those ran over your feet outside, also it's very unlikely you would remove your safety footwear just for a chat outside the gate.

I like these and I think DJ you are top notch. Very professional, good natured, knowledgeable about your rights and those rights are fundamental for everyone. Also I have experienced walking along a beach and have a drone come down and hover near me and other people.. it was extremely unnerving. I know DJ doesn;t bring his drone down low but it is normal for people to have a visceral reaction to being exposed to a drone. A tough one. I think laws and technology are not quite in alignment as tech advances so quickly. Difficult to know where the lines will eventually be drawn but anyway, DJ good work you are part of the vanguard here.
We are totally different then. I wouldn't be 'viscerally' reacting. I would be curious. I'd want to see what it did, who was flying it, how far away they are. Then I'd strike up a conversation and ask about it, how easy it is to learn to fly ect. You're timid, I'm curious.

At 10:52 the warehouse in the background is the new Amazon BHX8 facility completed late 2021.
Logistsmanaager article notes: "Known as Unit A Gorcott, the building will have 16.2m eaves as well as a 328,300 ft2 warehouse with an adjoining office and welfare facility totalling 38,100 ft2. 6:55 It might be useful to mention in situations such as this that the body camera is recording evidence of the interaction. So they should mind their language, attitudes and actions as the footage can be used in a complaint, civil claim or even a criminal prosecution - all depending on how the interaction pans out.

@@thecorbies that's not the only requirements, you have to prove your right to work, have business insurance and they regularly check you car, tyres etc.. and run your plates for your mot status, facial recognition when you arrive for your block, amongst other things, is not as simple as you say!! I've been doing it 4 years
