he's literally the only person I can watch over and over again without getting bored or tired 💖 you inspire me sm w my channel 💖🥰🍓♥️♥️🥰♥️
Thank you so matcha:)
The only thing we need now is enough soup and a table large enough for all your subscribers to sit down! You are a very sweet person and obviously a true friend.
Your disposition is so infectious ❤️ I’m going to follow your example and be cheerful and content with the simple things in life !
Awww. Don't be lonely! You're so charming and kind. I'm kind of a homebody, I'm happy with me and my kitty. I'm "alone" a lot but not lonely. We love you! ❤️
I love your content a lot, it's so relaxing and makes you appreciate the more simple things in life like a fresh warm meal. You mentioned a few months ago that you're trying to make your english sound more natural and make less scripts for your videos and it seems to me you've improved a lot. Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you so matcha for the amazing video! was a pleasure to collab with you.
These recipes are looking so delicious, I must try them! I love the way you cook on the little gas stove with the special dish... a perfect minimal way!
Thank you for being so inspiring in all you show us here on CZcams!
😘🤗
Thank you for adding a vegan nabe recipe! I have lived in Japan and loved all the food there but after I moved back to my country I turned vegan, and the next time I go to Japan, it will be more difficult for me to find vegan food in Japan. But this shows I can still eat my favorite foods there even if I would have to make them myself! 😊
02:21 its like a vagabond manga panel
I have been ill for the past month with what feels like a revolving door of illnesses...these look like they'd be perfect to add to my diet right now
I always get so happy when I see a new video from you! Thanks for sharing your joy and inspiring everyone :)
I loved when you ate the hot chicken dumpling and couldn’t speak😂, something we all do. Great video and thank you for your lovely down to earth personality.
I lived in Higashimurayama. Now I am back in Switzerland. I ate some nabe at the restaurant. I couldn't imagine that it would that easy to prepare in a short time. I will try it tomorrow.
Your videos are really inspiring, please keep up the work!
I love nabe and will certainly try the one you made for breakfast. In UK we eat stews and soups in winter but they tend to be quite rich and thick, I think nabe is so much lighter and easier to digest.
Hey! Thanks for the recipes and explanations! It all seems so delicious… and with the happiness you express when eating and preparing, it makes it even more yummy! 🥰
At this point, I am a little addicted to your videos. 😂 They are so relaxing, and always so interesting and easy to watch. 😊
How nice to slow down and enjoy food. ⭐
Thank you for the video and the recipes. Those look great for the cold days 🥰
Oooh Nabe three times in one day and warm sake, too!! Delicious! It’s a wonderful video, thank you very much. ☺️
Yummy food on a cold winter day!
Oh, and every time you say something is delicious (like everything) I automatically smile. 😊
Thank you for the recipes! I love watching your channel. I live in Florida USA.
Watching from Hawaii ❤ I love your content and how it’s presented, so lovely and full of life. I just started drinking matcha instead of coffee and your presentation on how to prepare it inspires me to continue drinking it. I look forward to making this Japanese hot pot soup receipt. Mahalo ❤
Wow, excellent ideas for hot pot, thanks for sharing.
was about to cook miso soup, changed recipe last minute, it was delicious thank you
These look delicious! I've been wanting to begin making more Japanese dishes so I can't wait to try these. Thank you!
I'm happy and hungry just by seeing you eating so happily
Akisan, your village looks beautiful and if your food tastes as good as it looks you are a happy man.
I am from India...plz visit our country in the next winter...I hope you will enjoy the trip
Thank you so much for todays video, I love learning about the foods you eat in Japan!
Looks so delicious 😋 Really perfect for winter time.
Omg these dishes look amazing. Going to prepare these now as the weather cools. Thanks for sharing your recipe 😀

The Nabe looked so tasty, thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the recipes. I know it took me some time but I am finally beginning to see cooking asca joy rather than a toll. So happy to try these
Just love your video’s!
Grateful much
Looks so delicious!
that's nice
Now, I'm hungry.....but, I want what he's eating. I have in my pantry or refrigerator that comes close to what he's eating....😢😭 I guess I better go to the store to look for the ingredients he used. Hopefully I can find enough of them. I'm hungry....😋
Good cooking! Love it! Will try to make w/ family asap! -- do I have ingredients? 🤔🙄😁 can you just add water without the dashi/consomme? Don't have those on hand. Have kelp and dried shiitake tho. Also, we have vegetarians here, so gotta stick to no fish/animal ingredients. It's kinda cold here so this is perfect! 🥰 thank you!!!
Looks so tasty!!
Your videos are very informative.
My husband is our home chef and I immediately sended this video with the message "DO IT! NOW"
What a great video, thank you! I have made recipe nr 3 (but without clams.) It is so delicious and gives a cosy feeling! I will be cooking it regularly from now on!

With positive from Ukraine
I love watching your videos. I’m from Virginia USA
I can’t eat anything with soy like soy sauce or tofu so I use coconut aminos instead. Thank you so much for all your suggestions and information.
Now I am enthusiastic about nabe! And sake. Thank you for sharing your enjoyment of life. ❤ You are a healthy alternative to mind-draining celebrity gossip.
Hi, Aki, haha: what a name: tipsy sake… I don’t drink any alcohol, but in soups I add a bit of Mirin. My girl friend from Taiwan, who lived in Japan for 2 years, taught me to use it. It makes especially mussel soup delicious. Soon we’ll be in Denmark and find fresh mussels at the beach… I’ll add some mushrooms like you did. We always top it with some roasted sesame seeds. Enjoy the winter and teach us to go out in all kinds of weathers… love, Monika❣
That sake is pretty expensive but I hope you really enjoyed it. It looks so delicious...thanks for sharing.
美味しいそう! 暖かくしてくださいね!
My favourite Nabe is the one called Mille Feuille Nabe. I just take my good broth from the refrigerator , add cabbage and bacon (or pork belly) slices. I don`t know why I am the only one in my family who likes it 🤔
Great vid!
The best way to eat cheese😊 i love it
your videos are informative and so relaxing! and seeing your empty room makes me want to throw out all my stuff!! i have so much crap that i don't even use! hahahah can't wait for the next video!
I LOVE HOW YOU USE SO MANY MANY VEGGIES! JUST LIKE TAMIL DRAVIDIAN INDIAN SOUTH ASIANS! THANKS HEAPS!
Do you share the kitchen with other people who live in the building? It does not look minimalist but that could have been the camera angle!. Love the video! Do you have a link for the pot? Will be trying those recipes!! My heart hurt a little bit when you said you were lonely. 😭 we all appreciate you letting us into your world! 💜
Yummy🤗
I like the food from Japan!
Aki San I really enjoyed the hot pot cooking lesson and the recipe information. You are absolutely radiant with healthy appearance. I wish I could share your day irl.
congrats on your sponsorship!
Btw, if you wish to do membership (mentioned in an earlier video), that's ok. We won't be able to join it but can still appreciate any other content you offer to non-members. You need to do what's best for you. Just don't forget non-members. 😉 😌 🙂 Straddling balance of content for members vs. non-members will give you a learning curve. I see some channels working on that, struggling a bit. When you're ready, good luck! 👍
I love so much japanese, chinese, Korean culture foods etc.. 😊As an Indian, Kerala personally I like more spicy foods😁but at thr same time as a food lover l wish to taste urs foods😍 u include more veggies with half Cook, that's why ur skin is so healthy 😍, I like a video about why Japanese give more importance to toilet cleaning.. Now l also keeping that habit😍I want to know this type knowledges of Japanese people that follow for their health, prosperity, luck, happines...
