It could be you're seeing not djs but artists who are also djs and in their sets they don't dj like james hype which is great but that's not the point.. some artists are more of producers than DJ so they are just promoting their music album performing a mix that doesn't necessarily mean they are bad artists.. i hope you understand what's actually going on when you see a artist perform on festivals or clubs.. 👍

Been Djiing for many years now. Back then, there were no softwares... It was the beginning of them and we were bullying at them.
Everything was about real time mixing and blending (with cd's and vinyls)... And playing music from different genres. All about for us, was and is for entertaining the crowd.
And you my friend, got the entertainer's DNA. I like the way you work on these decks and manipulate them bro. You give meaning to all these knobs and faders that are forgotten from other djs.
Crowd wants a DJ who interacts with them. Most DJs/Producers go on stage and they act like, someone said something sad to them. No dance to the rhythm, no energy from them. Just mixing two songs together.
Its been a long time since I've seen a dj, doing proper djiing/entertaining.
