You already know who he was going to say before you click on the video. Bird won 3 rings in the 80's. Magic won 5 rings in the 80's. They came in the league at the same time (after playing each other in the NCAA championship game) and battled each other in the Finals a couple times. One of the greatest rivalries ever.

Remember: When Larry went to the Celtics their past season they won 26 games. Magic and The Showtime Lakers had a Loaded Team. Magic took over when Kareem was injured, and as a Rook got them a Ring.

I attended University of Michigan when these two were playing in the Big Ten. Magic Johnson and Greg Kelsey were an explosive element on the fast break with the no look pass and plays that nobody had seen before. Larry Byrd was an incredible shot maker. The thing that really impressed me was his ability to shoot from the corner consistently. You only have the width of the ball from there to sink that shot and he did it consistently. Ordinarily, you would lay off someone in the corner because it was such a low percentage shot but if you approached him he would just fake and take another type of shot.

Another stupid a** comment. Some of you guys are just like a lot of these dumb a** athletes of today. Never research, watch a few 5 to 6 min clips and think what you're saying is so intelligent and or deep. Jordan's work ethic is what made him who he is and was. The competition fueled his drive a little bit but his will to be the best is what drove him.

Magic and Larry the greatest bball players. Larry is Irwin Rommel who makes you pay everytime you leave him open or ignore him and Magic is Heinz Guderian who overwhelms teams with his blitzkrieg and bullet passes leaving you off balance, backpedaling, and unstable. To pickleball roadlesstrav so since you played college basketball then you ought to know what shooting a higher field goal percentage and higher free throw percentage that magic could have averaged more points per game than Jordan if he’d been a ball hog and was all about himself.Magic shoot 52 percent career field goal percentage and 84.7 career free throw percentage. And shot 51.7 career field goal percentage in the NBA Finals.Jordan shot 49.7 career field goal percentage and 83.5 career free throw percentage and shot 48.1 career field goal percentage in the nba finals.Do the math.Magic wasn’t a selfish player that’s why the lakers won a championship magics rookie season. Not to mention he turned 20 years old three months before the season. He also won the MVP of the NBA Finals and he is the only rookie to win that award.Until Phil Jackson taught Jordan to share the ball with his teammates he played six seasons with no NBA Finals appearances so if you played college basketball you must have been a benchwarmer
