    Right now I'm still in denial and in grieving process after that crushing lost of political leaders I've supported wholeheartedly. This man slapped me back to reality and made me accept things as it is. We should still work together for our gain as countrymen, stop hoping for worse out of bitterness. We can be apprehensive of the past doings of the Marcoses but our wellbeing will still be shaped by the appointed Technocrats who would just not lead our economy to doom, as they will be affected as well if that happen.

      I was in Manila when martial law was declared and I agree with Son Beke ‘s statement, it was a good discipline to filipino people who are always out in the streets just to make their point across instead of going to court and it was very safe to be walking out in the safe streets because people are disciplined no criminals rooming around maybe some corruption but not too many people is corrupted , if martial law was not declared the Philippines would have been a communist country and I don’t think people would like that, this guy is such a critic on his own people/ country, it is very clear that he is just an investor but not a Filipino, he should be ashamed of himself to say the Philippines doesn’t really matter… what a hypocrite !!!

      @mariavictoria it's not that Filipinos don't get it, we have been bombarded with this informations for a very long time. The thing is what did leni do for the past 6 years? How did she deal on duterte as an opposition. Her track records did not matter because majority of the people sees her as opposition and enemy of the true change. She even rant in international media which is very shameful instead of confronting and solving the problem that she think exist. And majority of mindanaoans and visaya has benefited on NTF ELCAC but she wants to abolish it. Basically Filipinos wants to obliterate CPP NPA as a whole. They destroyed our youth and destroyed businesses. So in short leni did not earn the trust of majority of the filipinos, her message is Don't allow a Marcos presidency. And marcos's message is unity. That's a very realistic unbiased simplest understanding. You don't need a degree for that to see.

    I love this interview. Fresh and very informative. Thank you. A slogan is just a slogan. A slogan is not a policy. A survey is just a survey. A survey can be just a collected data from targeted people or groups base on their opinion but a survey doesn’t cover of majority vast number of people. That’s probably why it doesn’t match the true results. If we’ve only base our votes base on the personality of people instead of the credibility then look what happened to US? The President Biden becomes the laughing stock. Most of the time he has no idea what or where he was or not even aware of what’s going on in the country. We have the highest rate inflation since February 1982 and just getting worse. But people voted for him anyway. Then people complain. Not to be mean but it’s true.
    So how do we really matter? We don’t. The fact of the matter is like he said “just do a good job and your people that voted for you will appreciate it.” Investors will invest base upon on how the economy is growing. Maybe we should stop obsessing what the former late President Marcos has done in the past that he may be following his footsteps. Well, there you go, no wonder the people didn’t get the chance to find out what will be his policy because the media itself focus on just one issue instead of what really matters to the country.

Plus, this man is right on every issues that matters for the Filipino people, that's what we ALL Filipinos should focus on instead of trying to put the screw on someone like BBM who is trying to really make a difference for a government that had been ruled by self-interests and corruption. Nice of you ANC for not scrapping this interview despite the fact that you are known to be anti-Marcos - - there might still be hope for what's left of media integrity in you. • @gepimu
      @gepimu Před 2 lety +16

      @@onlinesignsanddisplays3484 you simply said what he meant the other way around. Here's the 'spin' she posited; " that based on the new administration and the background of BBM, what does he (Mr Cuunjieng) feels about how our trading partners view that, 'you know what this country is something that we want to bet on anymore" - - -or words to that effect, that's the spin, for which he responded that "nobody cares internationally" - - -"we're not that kind of important," we're not a great source of exports or imports, etc. etc.
      Listen to Ms. Ong's assertions throughout the interview, she mention issues that appears to negatively impact BBM's demeanor like not attending debates for which he retorted; "the same thing was said about Pinoy, but we were not bitching and moaning then." So to me, the whole interview is simply a "total spin" metaphorically to denigrate BBM. That's just my opinion, and she, I think really didn't expect the blatant honesty and neutrality of Mr. Cuunjieng's responses.
