Grill Cleaning Hacks: Can You Pressure Washing Your Grill !

Hi Mike with All Brite! In this video we're going to walk you though cleaning up a gas grill using a pressure washer. Let's dive into the step by step process.
1. Get your materials need for cleaning up your grill. Safety glasses, gloves, degreaser a brush, scraper and a pressure washer.
2. Hook up your pressure washer: Make sure it's filled with gas or plugged in in its electric connected to water and ready to go to work.
3. Disassemble the grill
Start by removing the propane tank. Next remove grates, flavor bars and burners. These are usually the parts that collect the most grease and grime. Taking them off will make the cleaning process much more effective.
Clean up any loose debris and grease and scrape into the tray. I like to do this remove trays clean them and re install before applying degreaser.
4. Apply Degreaser
Spray it generously over the surfaces of the grill (recommend to use food grade degreaser) focus on areas with built up grease and residue. This will help loose up grime and make it easer to wash away.
5 Scrub Away dirt and grease.
Use brushes and a scraper to agitate dirt and grease. you may have to reapply degreaser and going over stubborn areas more than once. The pressure washer will do a lot of heaving lifting but a good scrubbing before hand will ensure a thorough clean.
6. Pressure wash.
Time for the main event: Fire up your pressure washer and start blasting away the dirt, grease, grime. Keep a safe distance from the grill to avoid damaging any knobs or sensitive areas. Work to make sure you cover every square inch and rinse well.
7. Rinse again with a lower pressure setting and dry with a rag, then it's time to reassemble the grill , putting back the burners, flavor bars and grates.
