Deep breath Vinny. She's done. I think it turned out great. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Vinny, some kits are full of issues. Sometimes it's better to just move on to something else. I'll bet others have had these same issues too. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Jeff
You did a good job Vinny. I built this kit in the original version had the same problems you had. I think they reproduce the same kit. I still have the same problems. A lot of the old AMT truck kits had a lot of the same problems and they reproduced them all and never fix the problemsbecause it wasn’t a lot of people out there making semi trucks, tow trucks, firetrucks, etc. don’t get you down. You did a great job on the build. Thanks for sharing Bob.
It’s funny that two of the same kits can build totally different my wrecker gave me hardly no issues the frame was my issue other then that it was ok not great but ok sorry it fought you Vinny thanks for your support and trying it don’t look bad buddy k.u.t.g.w.
Hi Vinny. You got there in the end. I,m sorry that you didn,t enjoy the build. I don,t do trucks but I know that there is a lot to them. Also I model small scale 1/72nd so one of my trucks is about as big as the fuel tank on your truck. I like the paint job and the hood decals. Look in your stash and see if you have something that you will enjoy. Get back the love my friend. There's nothing worse than thrashing away at a deadend. But well done and don,t be to dissapointed. Good luck.
Even though it fought you all the way Vinny it still looks good. I'm with you, once a kit becomes more of a job than I'm done with it.
Hey Vinny sorry you had so much trouble with that kit. I guess at that point when a kit becomes so frustrating it's time to move on. Don't let it get you down buddy it happens.
Well, all of the hic-cups and burps aside, it looks good to me. On a serious note, should You decide to get rid of it, I would gladly trade You a kit or three for it. If You've a mind to. Just saying, I can't find that kit around here, so, just sayin" Vinny. Thanks for sharing the build with Us. Looking forward to the next video! Take Care, Be Safe, God Bless, Later
Even with all the problems you had, it looks great. Have a good week.
Looks real cool mate👍 I had same problem with bumper, so I made mine a curbside
On the upside... the paint looks really nice, Vinny!
It still looks great Vinny! All the details and effort really show. When a fits perfectly, it's easy to make look good, but it takes skills to make one like this look so good!
You gave it your best and it still came out looking very good Vinny , Regards Gav.
Looks good Vinny, hope you finish it soon. Those AMT semi kits are old molds and lots of small pieces but you learn a lot about trucks.😊
Vinny, that sucks about that kit. Sometimes it's best to walk away and come back to it later. It still looks pretty good👍
Turned out really nice Vinny
it looks sharp
Wow. Like I mentioned once before, it was probably done by Walthers….😊
Wow. You've had a battle there. I would suggest drilling and pinning the exhaust and rebuilding hinge with sheet but I don't know what you could do about bumper except for extending the mounts out further🤔. I haven't got one to look at but others have built it,I'd see what's on other yt vids. Thanks for showing and best wishes for your next build👍😎Pete 🤓
Looks pretty cool, Vinny. Really stinks about the quality. You did an awesome job considering what you had to deal with
