I've ordered mine. Should have in July ready for my holiday/ vacation. I really really hope it's a screw down crown. It's a impossible thing I've found out to confirm this
Nick, my hunch is it does NOT feature a screw down crown. Like the other SBGP 44GS series, they feature a push/pull crown and can be verified looking at the SBGP005 Grand Seiko page which states the crown is ''pull out.'' It is, in my opinion bizzare why they dont use screw down crown on a watch like this given its quartz and the user will rarely be changing the time, none the less it does not impact me as i dont plan to swim with this watch on, for usual activity, washing hands, heavy rainfall it will definitely suffice!
I had the Tudor Pro. Returned it specifically cause I want this now. That Tudor is lovely just too thick! Let's hope it's screw down crown as that's make or break in my mind. 100m needs to be that. Maybe I missed it but does the bracelet taper? Thanks all
It wont be screw down crown, most likely push pull. But it is rated to 10 bar (100M water resistance). Taper on the GS bracelet would be around 1mm-2mm, not much from 19mm down to clasp.
Beautiful watch beautiful 🤩
Great content Sam. I'm really stoked for this GS limited edition quartz release!
Thanks for watching! Hyped to get a textured dial GS myself!

@@sandsoftime3248 thanks for letting me know. I hope your wrong pal
No taper nor screw down. Total let down. I've cancelled order
I'm waiting for the storm clouds, or clouds at night version, hopeful a 36.5 diameter. Not a huge fan of the shades of white 40 + mm watches anymore.
