@@sandsoftime3248 my AD didn’t even get an allocation. If you ever consider selling it I would pay a premium. I’d be more than happy to give you my personal info
This is one of the best looking dials from any watch brand. I wish they would have done a smooth sweep second hand though. What was retail price on this?
I can not say. Dependant on region as well. This watch at the end of the day is a quartz watch and has that ''stigma'' to it. There will be flippers out there trying to get their money back or more. I think this watch is excellent value for money in 9F85 quartz and packs a punch. I speculate that it will hold its value over time. Just hope Grand Seiko doesn't saturate the market for something like this, as we tend to see a limited edition released very often from the brand.
two different watches, different case and movement. Personally I'd take the SBGA413 over the sea of clouds. Titanium is nice + spring drive. In terms of how nice the dial is, they both use the exact same emboss print. The 413 is a silvery dial where you might see some shade of pink in 10 percent of scenarios. The Sea of clouds is always a sky blue dial. I no longer own the sea of clouds.
Beautiful watch! Congratulations, Sam! And good job on the video!
Thanks Chaz!
Sam!!! This is amazing! Congrats my friend 😍
Thanks Sanjay!
Gorgeous Watch 😍
Congrats on the new GS Sam! It looks amazing and I'm really hoping I can check one out at some point.
Thanks Toran!
Nice piece mate ! I am considering one of these as well. I already own a Grand and King Quartz so this would be a great addition.
It is quite nice in person. This video is just an early impression.s great to see you have the Grand and King quartz watches!
Looks great and it hits the markers 🙌
Cheers Keith. Happy it hits all the markers!
Waiting for mine to arrive. Can't wait to see it in person. I have a light grey suede strap waiting for it.
Congratulations. That would pair nicely with the dial!
Thanks for the video - getting mine in a few hours but thanks for the early look!
congratulations!
beauty! I ordered one…
Interesting video, but you need to adjust the contrast -- it's too bright, so the dial texture looks washed out.
Ohh i definitely shot this one poorly! It is phenomenal in person. Check my instagram Sandsoftime for more on this!
I can’t believe you got your hands on one. Wanted one so bad
Yeah in AUS i really needed to get in early at the boutique. WE get very few allocations here.

Ooooh spring drive on this would've been perfection!
nice video, i wonder if my 20cm wrist is too large. i always am unlucky that the watches i want, seem to be to small for me.
Try an SBGP 44gs quartz watch on at the AD or boutique and you can see!
Is that the Melbourne store mate? Recommend any sales person there?
Yes Melbourne Boutique. They are all pretty friendly, Hardik and Danielle are pretty good.
Whats best to pair this watch with? Clothes wise
Anything really. Would look great in a formal setting or a casual jeans and shirt.
Beautiful.....where did you get it from??
Seiko Boutique Melbourne
does your watch change its date exactly at 12? or slightly pass 5mins?
Pretty sure it is instant date change
@@sandsoftime3248 yes it is. but mine changes date at 12:05. wondering if other watches have the same quark
Subbed.
Thanks man!
This is not spring drive?
This a 9F85 High accuracy quartz, not a spring drive model!
What size is you're wrist mate?
7.1 inch wrist, approx 18cm
Do you think this watch will appreciate in value?

It is quartz GS at 2000 units (not really "limited") and of course it will not keep its value. GS is not investment brand ^^
@@RP-jr8wf Well said! Don't buy GS as an asset, we are enthusiasts not entrepreneurs
is this better then the sbga413??
