Hazards in surface mining operations: Roads or other vehicle operating areas

This video supports the Resources Regulator Safety Alert SA20-09 which details incidents where people were exposed to significant health and safety risks due to collisions, rollovers, and interaction of mobile plant within surface operations. The severity of the outcomes of these incidents has ranged from a near miss to minor injuries of personnel involved. The potential outcome of these incidents however could have resulted in severe and/or fatal injuries.
