Got my Pixel 6A and I must say the onboarding to Pixel family has a whole different level of experience. Material You is definitely a cherry on cake. There are Android phones and then there's a Pixel. ❤️

@@udittiwari6769 the phone unlocks every time using it I have 2 finger print registered and it works well for me and my partner could not unlock it.

I am seeing all are enthusiastic about the phone, & google is responding to the positive comments.
I also ordered Google Pixel 6a, i am going to use it in India, i am really worried about the user experiences like
1) Finger print scanner not working properly.
2) Heating issues during recording videos.
I wish I should not regret by the decision to become part of Google.
I expect #TeamPixel to respond to the issues.
fingerprint is not an issue.. people just want instant unlock so it feels slow an inaccurate cuz they just tap the scanner and not leave their finger on it
The heating issues, honestly.. yes the first week it'll be bad, but that's to be expected since google points out it's all about the phone learning your patterns so in the beginning to learn those patterns it needs to work pretty hard even when doing light tasks. After that yes with recording 4K 60FPS it might overheat after quite some time if it's hot outside, but pretty much every phone (samsung, xiaomi etc.) does that as well, except for google Pixels main competitor, the Iphones SE and all Iphones to be honest..

I'm so excited! I subscribed to Pixel Pass and my Pixel 6a shipped today! I'm also excited for my A-Series Pixelbuds to arrive. I just wish Stadia could be incorporated into Pixel Pass somehow.

There's a concern regarding pixel 6a fingerprint sensor - few reviewers find that the phone unlocks with unregistered fingerprints too. If that is the case then Google addressed that ?

Have used some of the best android flagship but always wanted to buy a pixel, I got 6a purely for the pixel software experience and Google's masterful AI. Hopefully, we will get to see next higher models in India at a better price and offer strategy.

6a is not good enough because for 49$ more you could have get Pixel 6.
@@diablotech385 not available in India and on Amazon US it is showing at 570$ and if indeed it is available at 50$ more on other places than indeed it is a better deal. The one getting sold in India does not come with Google's warranty.

I got mine a couple of hours ago, transferring my pixel 3A to my pixel 6a was a breeze. I am trading in my pixel 3A and already so sad to see it go. I have loved this phone since I got it those years ago. I treated it gently as it deserved, and it has gone everywhere with me. Not complaining one time during our time together. I made sure it was fed and happy. So long old friend. I will remember you always.

I waited for more than 4 months for 6a to launch. But, disappointed with the price in India.
If a giant like Google is launching a phone, I expected it to totally out class the competition. Apart from the picture quality, nothing else is up to the expectations.
Hope pixel 7 does better. Probably not going to wait for it though.
You expect a giant company to have a great spec phone for a relatively low price? Then your expectations may be wrong and therefor you will be dissapointment with the Pixel 7 too. Google isn't for the spec heavy users, it's for the people who appreciate the pixel experience and know that specs ain't all. A company like Xiaomi will ofcourse have lower margins then Samsung, Apple & Google.. that's just the way it is, but with that Samsung, Apple & Google bring a sense of security to the table, knowing you will get a good phone and one that will be supported for a long(er) time. A company like Xiaomi puts out loads of phones a year, and therefor the support is just meh (comming from an Xiaomi Mi 9t pro consumer). May I ask what you're most dissapointment about with the pixel 6a?
@@anteros3584 see the issue is that pix 6a is overpriced in india, unlike the nothing phone which launched at the same time. And in us google is giving away pixel buds A for free but not in india. So that's kind of a bummer.
@@urveeshdadhich9003 Yeah I looked it up and in India the price is indeed quite much. Being able to get the Xiaomi 12X (it's main competitor spec wise and such in Europe) for much less is kinda odd. But I'm not sure I myself would compare the 6a to the nothing phone 1, completely different specs wise and a new brand compared to a brand that has quite a legacy.

Get to Know Pixel 6a:
1. We removed the headphone jack to sell you our own Bluetooth headphones
2. We threw away the compact 5.8 inch form factor for a much more uncomfortable size
3. Expandable storage? Of course not, that would be way too consumer friendly!
4. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner? That, that would be too reliable, no...
TLDR: We made everything worse and took away the features you really need, but you'll buy it anyway!
That and we can't screen mirror wirelessly without having to jump through hoops
switched from my pixel 3 which ive been using since 2018, still a great phone, but just had to get pixel 6a as a gift to myself and am loving it ❤️

I bought this phone 10 days ago, over any other android device although it isn't even supported in Greece, best experience so far. The smartest and most VFM device I've had, hands down.

Got my new Pixel 6 Pro just 3 days ago and I was just blown away by how far technology has advanced. My previous phone was a Samsung S9+ which I kept for over 4 years and thought it was so advanced, but Pixel 6 Pro is on another level. I also bought the new Pixel 6a for my missus to replace her iPhone 7.

I could not resist the pre-order promotion deal and ordered one for myself (sage) and one for my wife (chalk). I think wireless charging and a 256gb internal storage option would have made this THE BEST mid-range device. It may already be. I'm excited and due for an upgrade from my 2XL, which I still love!!! My 6a is not sending messages when I say send using the voice to text feature, it just spells out the word send. Any help would greatly appreciated.

Everything is awesome about this phone. But recently I have seen many videos where one can use their fingerprint to unlock the phone even if their fingers are not registered. Can this be updated with a software update? If Yes, then definitely I'll buy the Pixel 6 A over the Iqoo 9T or the OnePlus 10T.
There were some phones in the past that had the same issue in Beta testing and back then it was easily fixed through software. The sad thing about this launch is that they send it away with the latest update being from april, meaning they possibly have already fixed it in their models but haven't yet updated it in all the phones the testers got. My expectation is that the update on the first of august will fix this problem. If not I'm certain they will soon, Google being all about security will do everything they can to fix this issue because it could really hurt their name.
After trade in, I'm getting this for 150 bucks and free earbuds! It's just too good to pass up.

@@Piyussh Hey, I've been using only Google devices and Nexus 4, 5, 5X, then Pixel 1, 2, 3, then 3 again coz we didn't get 4. And now 4a past 2 years.
So my thoughts are already positive otherwise I wouldn't have invested in the line-up. Just happy that Google is showing us some much needed Pixel love in India. ✌️
I'll just say it's not as much the hardware on a Google/Pixel device, it's the software and experience which keeps getting better with time.
Nevertheless, will see how it goes with the 6a and probably bump this thread here. Cheers!

@@Piyussh Honestly never had any issues with any of the devices so far. Only had charger related issues with 4a and the charger was replaced under warranty.
Been a Google fan since the Pixel 1 and I truly love you guys! And hence, I have some criticism for this one that if you want, you can note down. One of the major problems is the spec sheet. I'm not talking Tensor or the storage but the inferior 60hz display and no charger in box. Specially when phones a $100 less offer more of those things, like a 120hz display and a fast charger. If the price was lower or the specs were higher, specially charger in box since it's a big need for budget phones, I'd recommend the 6a in an instant. Hopefully the 7a improves upon those mistakes and is even better! I'll hang around to see the development, #TeamPixel
Don't the 60hz scare you away. It' extremely smooth. Looking side to side with a Pixel 6 pro, it's barely noticeable, if at all. Applications are smooth scrolling. Its a NON ISSUE.

@@johnny257 yeah, from what I know, for all general purposes 60hz feels good too but when compared to let's say a moto g82, they offer a 120hz, fast charger in box, near stock experience too.
I guess the pixel actually is better than I thought but I really wish it was cheaper since it's not bumped up from the upper lower mid range market to fully upper midrange

Just bought my pixel 6a I love it but there's heating issues and battery draining issues and yes fingerprint sensor can be unlocked with other prints .updated everything Android 13 everything updated to latest. phone is getting too hot and battery draining + finger print. Pls fix it

First time experience, just awesome... Pixel 6A just mind blowing...please give a security update. The last update was in April.
Just received my unit. Having network issues already. Pixel 6a continuously shows no network available when my old pixel 4a5g works great at the same spot. It's also getting warm on the left side. I haven't even started using it yet. It's just finished setup process. Not happy with the purchase at all
