Federer siempre serás el mejor
Le duela a quien le duela
3rd set is a work of art
I watched this match from somewhere in the top rows. The only match, I watched in a stadium in my life.
Pretty good match to watch I'd imagine, even from the top!
Must have been a good feeling indeed!
❤❤❤
After Roger Federer I stoped watch this game again 😢
❤RF❤️
Super grand
This is one of the best clash-of-two-eras matches of all time. The Alcaraz Djokovic Wimbledon final is probably the other great example. I really thought my interest in tennis was going to dwindle down to nothing once Agassi left. Then came the era of the GOATs right on the heels of Agassi. We have been treated to 20 years of outstanding sports entertainment.
This looks like really good quality footage for 2000’s
I agree
You know there were 4k cameras back in 1977 right?
@@fredrikdahlin7869 That does not explain why most footage prior to 2000s looks worse than 240p
@@MrDeuceify It depends on who uploads it. Trust us, good cameras have been around for donkeys' years.
thinking of the longevity of Roger's game. I don't think too many players had last as long as he did. When he first winning slam, HD TV was just starting. I remember watching him playing Sampras in Wimbledon and it was only in standard definition.
I mean what can we say, simply beautiful quality 🙏
Roger’s forehand was something else back then! 🔥🔥🔥
still legacy
I just can’t seeing peak Novak beating this level of Fed.
He was a Fckn GOD
mid 30s Andre was giving him trouble but you can't imagine Novak beating him ? Lol sure .....
Djokovic is a better version of Agassi. He would destroy him
@@blabla-fw9ix Mid 30´s Federer was giving a lot of trouble to younger Djokovic as well...peak mid 20´s Federer would be probably better than that
@@CtiborJasek Maybe , but Novak is a better player than Agassi is , I don't even want to debate that .
Prime Novak and prime Roger are closer than a lot of fans think . The faster the surface the bigger advantage Roger has , the slower it is the bigger advantage Novak has but overall Novak is a more clutch player which is why ultimately he came on top more often than not .
@@blabla-fw9ix I can agree with that...the current view is skewed by the fact that Djokovic had the age advantage against Federer in most of their meetings
High speed match...One of my favorites
What’s amazes me about Federer is he won many majors and tournaments on the old faster courts against greats like Sampras, Agassi etc. Then tennis slowed down the courts and changed the game he still won many majors and was a force for another decade while playing against the GOAT’s Djokovic and Nadal.
Legendary stuff, generational player.
to me, today is faster :P
Rafa and joker wouldnt crack top ten, (and didnt), on courts this fast for the more skilled
@@carlosm9364 No, courts are much slower today than in 2005.
@@johnbisazza7970 Lol , absolutely delusional especially when talking about Novak . Wouldn't be top 10 lmao ......
Sophisticated forehand, footwork etc. Deserves to win
my all time favourite match, great
So aesthetically pleasing to watch.
Vamos Charly the old Charly is back. I always believed in ur skills. It's good to see u smile again 😊 🎉 🏆
Still remember this match almost 2 decades ago. Can't believe it has been 2 decades !
Their matches were breathtaking.
It's a treat to watch such a a hi-def recording of this historic match.
Those courts were the best… very exciting with a lot of winners and aggressive tennis. Miss those days. Now it’s just a endurance match
It doesn’t look like 20 years ago! Oh boy
Agassi reaching the final at age 35 is unbelievable. What a stamina.
The sound of the ball off Andre's racquet was unreal.
Incredible how Federer dominated in the final set. Genius.
Against a 36 year old player with two discal hernia?
@@francuadrado7515 but in the final
最高な試合!興奮しました!🔥
ive never seen a court this fast before, it's kind of mind boggling.
I really miss Dick Endberg. He was one of the best at his job, and I loved him announcing Tennis with John McEnroe
No bias with a merry can commentators. No siree!
Agassi said roger took the game light years ahead😎
Great match, i still remember watching this on TV all those years ago. Andre at 35 still proved that he could compete at the highest level. Only thing that irritates me now is the absolute Agassi fanboying by the commentary team.
This match was that final nail in the coffin for American tennis being number one.
Look at the speed of the court back then... different story today
The agressiveness from that years was another thing, today is just pass the ball until someone makes an unforced error.
@@ivannunez8738 yep! Totally
@@ivannunez8738I think the surface partly lends to the style that’s successful, if you look at 2005 French open it looks a lot like current hard courts in terms of style that wins
It doesn’t seem that much slower than today. In between around 2010 plus or minus some years, they really slowed it down to an unbearable level
@@richieortiz5 RG was slower back then though
費德勒是最偉大的球員⋯⋯年輕時有山普拉斯、阿格西、薩芬等⋯⋯老了後有喬柯維奇、納達爾、穆雷等⋯⋯他處在最困難重重的時代,他是最偉大的網球員
GOAT
どちらも1発で決めるショットを持っているだけにストロークの打ち合いとは思えないほど試合のテンポが早い
Andre controls the center of the court so well. He’s probably the best at that
Dos colosos enormes
HOLY SHIT THAT RETURN AT 7:57
Federer è "il tennis"
フェデラーつえ〜😂❤
I saw this superb final live on TV. It was a tough win for Federer. Andre Aggasi was as tough as Jimmy Connors, when he was at his best.
8 47 how can he defend like that
Agassi way past his prime here
Is that real? Omg they play amazing
7:58 Djokovic approved 🚀
Agassi science miracle 😂
Their age difference is 11 years!! If this were the other way round, 24 year old Agassi woulh have completely destroyed 35 yr old Roger, it would hv been a very onesided match in favour of Agassi's
J mac beeing oblivious at the time lol. Lance Armstrong didn't know how to dig deep. He knew how to take a shot of steroids in his arm.........haha
I am very thrilled that Agassi got screwed...He is no role model...
if Agassi be little bit younger then it would be different story. Agassi's forehand stokes were amazing.
I don't know man, I still think that a 3 years younger version of Andre could beat 2005 Federer in at least 4 sets. Despite not having a great service Agassi's game from the back of the court is more complete than the Swiss.
Nobody shares your thought. Roger was far more aggressive and complete one even compared to the prime Andre.
@@andreaho Prime Andre could beat anyone even by today's standards
Prime Agassi is basically Novak
@@sephsalvador6838 True. With en even faster ball. That guy is the Ronaldhino of tennis, if he had been serious during his career, he would have been number one during ten consecutive years. Sampras said he was the only player he couldn't beat when they were both playing at the top of their game. The difference is the mental Novak has outside the court, the ultimate perfectionist, which may not be always easy to live for his relative as he often says.
You have a valid point there muy friend. But I will say that Novak has a more efficient and varied serve.@@sephsalvador6838
I think Agassi was fuck all..to Federer
Agassi the pimp from Iran
agassi looks really out of shape at 35 compared to roger or novak. has a beer belly and barely moving
a clueless braindead moron who knows nothing about men's tennis
I observed same thing compared to roger and novak
He had a back injury but no beer belly, what the hell?!
Players didn’t really play at a super high level in their mid 30s before the big 3
Do not forget he played three 5 set marches before getting to the final..
I my opinion he was better player than Federer only lost it becouse he had not much left in his tank..
If nowadays hard courts were like backnin 2000s then Novak would not win so many slams. It's unsurprising that Novak started to win slams when surfaces were slowed down artifically.
Novak was 17 at this time mate. He reached uso F in 07 when it was still super fast
y nadal menos.
Just like Federer benefiting from slower courts compared to the 90s. Unsurprisingly, Fedfans gloss over this fact.
Source ? Proof ? You have none, you're saying bs only to cope and you know it. Surfaces started slow down long before Federer even won his first slam.
Why are american sports commentators so unbareable
MAKJULKAN JOKOWI MAKJULKAN SI GIBRAN MAKJULKAN SI BOBBY DAN ANTEK2 MEREKA
Miss this surface speed. I am only watching Federer highlights since the tour is boring copy and paste rinse and repeat basic cookie cutter player all look the same now.
I like Fedrer but Agassi is my all time great. I stopped watching when I felt AA is not going to win this one.
How does Andre Agassi always walk like an old man while playing great tennis?
He had some back issue
@@awbeltonyeah, but that how he walked.
Partita stratosferica !
