What’s the movie about?
To avoid a jail sentence in the US, Sean Boswell (Lucas Black) is sent to live with his father in Japan, where he finds himself in trouble once again when he becomes a competitor in the world of drift racing.

I dont see how that works if spark plugs are mainly for the ignition of the engine and nothing to do with the transmission or steering

The thing is, that it takes a while to get all the parts, and then you need special tools for some parts of the vehicle. All of it costs money, plus restoring the body paint, it's a huge cost. Replacing the wheels, windshields, rims, and all the interior, is hella expensive. In short, yes, you can do that, but you need money, and someone who knows about vehicle mechanics.
Pedro Chavarria a body and mechanical guy can probably do it no problem they don’t get charged as much either for parts
