I left this on Syntac’s video, but when you all play together you should connect your bases with the train tracks. Maybe even build a separate communal area that all your trains connect to, and that’s where the saloon is where you play poker and get together for cave runs/wyvern egg collecting/parkor stuff Evo builds/etc.
And every once in a while a patreon can have access to the server to tame a horse and try and raid a train?
@@jamespower1111 I remember Syntac had a space whale battle on Genesis 1 back when that came out. I forget who was in the video, but I think it was patrons.
Could be done similar to the “100 days” videos where patrons are given time to prep before attacking the train?
It could be a fun video, however people, even patrons, can be unpredictable.
The other 3 quit the game or the server mid game. JB finished the modded version. Axeman is good on his own server with his own style.
You all have to be in the same tribe for it to work, sadly you can't share/connect rails from 2 different tribes
@@bryanvisser4052 Huh. That makes sense. But if they built a separate town, all their tracks could individually arrive there. I’m not sure what the distance is that prevents you from building near enemy structures though. 🤔
Coffins are very old west. You see them a lot in western movies/games (usually at the undertaker’s). In real life, there are pictures of killed outlaws in their coffins as proof of their deaths. You can have the coffins stand up in the game, too. They are also a spawn point, like a bed.
I was hoping the oasisaur would be able to pick up dinos because seeing a giant flying crab carrying a titanosaur would be wild🔥

A thing that you did miss is the full potential of the plant pot. Its just for aesthetics, but if you use it with the shovel you can actually place any foliage from the map wherever you'd like! Its really neat! So you can have cactus gardens with the bushes from around the area to decorate your base :D
Also, the shovel will additionally give a 30% bonus to crop plot plant growth ^.^
I think the people who were worried about the Oasissaur being a paid to win thing can relax now. You can only revive one creature every 24hours. It does not fight so it cannot defend it self. Building space is very limited on it and you need to sacrifice a creature in order to tame it. But still a cool creature.
Even if you don't have the DLC, you can still team it if you don't mind using console commands

Omg, I’ve been mostly listening to these while I was working, but while Axe was showing the treasure chest, there were tumbleweeds! If Syntac, Axe, or Evo pointed that out, I completely missed it, but that’s pretty immersive.
The tumbleweeds are my favorite!
@@LMD2915 if I didn’t get super burnt out playing Ark, and I was on scorched, I think I’d grow to hate them. Them and those fake insects, or whatever they are, that frequently fly past the screen.
The bell can be set to alert your tames to aggressive mode.
Awesome! The fact that so much utility is built into these items is amazing. very different from Conan Exiles where their paid dlc is expensive and does literally nothing. This is SO worth getting.

Obviously, wildcard delayed and delayed to a point where the community was grateful for everything but they definetly smashed it with Scorched earth. i was expecting just updated textures, the fasolasuchus and some small changes but reworked ruins, new caves and a lot more oasis-feeling for free (kinda, if you paid 45 dollars) was absolutely amazing. and then for 30 dollars you get this? wow, train tracks, a lot new skins, structures, Oasisaur, and then obviously AB and EXT content.
Imma say it: absolutely worth it. When playing through the story In ASE i spent 30 days on Scorched, but with BOBs Ark Tall Tales, i could imagine spending 50-100 days building a huge western style town with traintracks going around the ark. Scorched Earth doesnt feel empty now like it used to, i like that :D

10:31 Yes, it was Eco’s Highland mod that has the carts. She did the physics really well, too, the carts were amazing. I’m just devastated that she didn’t come over to Ascended, but I understand, though. People put her through a lot of crap, and she’s a very nice lady who did all that amazing work for FREE (or just donations - of which she didn’t make a lot).

Official servers don't use any mods, but independent servers can install any mods they like.

Just so you know the oasisaur is not with the dlc its with the base game.
If you don't buy the dlc you can't tame it nor interact with it at all.
I'll have to look again on my single player but I am able to force tame it on there without the dlc. I'll be trying to do it legit when I can though.

Yes it is. Vet player Herr and I wasn't going to buy it because of all the problems with ASA, but my mate bought it for me and I love the building textures, lamps, etc. My only complaint is all the outfits are for guys. Nothing for females, not even a saloon girl dress and all the hats make you bald. 😊

Yes I checked the Steam page because I wanted to see how much a rip off it was in my local currency. Scorched Earth is completely free. This is solely the modded stuff.

He’s referring to the paid dlc of Bob’s Tall Tales. The maps are free, but the dlc is not. Sounds like it is a sort of package that has stuff that will be released during each of the three maps as they come out though.

Steam is showing me that Scorched Earth is free and only the skins and theme stuff is part of the NZ$49 DLC. That means that the DLC which doesn't even actually give you the original game expansions is a single dollar off the video game price cap I instituted for myself because of the sheer number of recent full price AAA games that have been complete garbage, let alone the NZ$75 base game that barely runs for most people and is hardly any better than the original. I know it's the basis of most of your income but I admire your ability to remain positive about this game.

Technically it’s 10 per pack since it’s a bundle for the 3 dlc maps, and the other 2 will aren’t out yet so you are paying the other 20 upfront and will get access to the other packs once their maps release. So if the other 2 packs have this much stuff and it would be worth it once Extinction comes out. Like did you read the store page for the adventure packs?? Lol
It is 100% not worth buying. I am not giving Wildcard another cent. They are focusing on this extra content when the core game is still complete broken trash. Now we got all this basically pay to win content you have to pay money for. I already gave them a bunch of money for this exact same game and expansion packs. They never hit deadlines and just lie all the time. I can't even play single player the core game is so broken nothing is saving. Screw Wildcard I hope they go out of business.The game is a copy and paste of Survival Evolved and Survival Evolved is one of the worst made games I have ever played.
