Thank you Beth for your courage, humility and love of justice. It is not about how many people agree with us- how many "likes" we get. It's about loving God enough to proclaim the Truth and do His will. Please continue teaching God's Word and encouraging us to read it for ourselves.
She is speaking for her own guilt. If a black person goes to a white america church they will be accepted and welcomed, FACT, If a white goes to a black church a bunch of the older woman will look like a ghost just arrived.

I love you, Beth and thank you for saying these things! I don't follow preachers, etc but I am aware of what you have been through and havr a bit of an understanding of these moments of being on the fringes, of being let down, etc. However, here you are addressing these issues that sniggering, superior homogenous clubs and networks would never be able to. May God continue to allow you to be an example of showing love to all ethnicities He created which is a rebuke to all those delluded enough to feel this is beneath them and the rest of us who are trying too.
Even as a person of colour I did not "see" what she is describing because my theology was informed mostly by white theologians from the West. I thank God that I can "see". But I'm deeply burderned because I cannot "unsee" this now and because so many others still can't "see" and because there is a long walk towards racial justice within the church. Give us the grace Jesus!

As a black single mother, I unknowingly moved to a white flight town. I googled a place, a place that’s safe. I just came. I thought the world was unified. Maybe the military lead me to being ignorant. I cry almost every Sunday after church. My Lord. I didn’t know places like this exist. It hurts. I need break through. In the stores , the church’s … everywhere it seems. I’m not a bad person. People look at me with fear, disgust or just disappointment. I didn’t choose this color. I am a military veteran. In military towns, there isn’t this type of division. This is a lot. I need help! I need answers. I hate is this?! This isn’t God! I don’t understand. I’m searching to understand.
What is happening to you is not right and definitely not Christian.
I don't understand how people can be this way. The church should make an effort to make you feel welcome. Perhaps if you spoke to the pastor and tell him how you are feeling, he should be aware this.
Sorry you are going through this, I hope things get better for you soon. Ignorance is part of the problem in our country today.

Coming from a fellow veteran, the military is rife with racism too. It remains covert in most cases because its openly frowned upon. But some people will still test those boundaries on occasion. I'm sorry you are going through this. You don't deserve to live in discomfort nor fear because of the ignorance of another. I will always recommend moving (if you can) if you feel unsafe. Your life is more important especially since you're the only parent your child has it seems. I will be praying for your safety, I will be praying for your strength and fortitub and that the blood of Jesus will cover your home, your family and your daily life in Jesus' name, amen. I have been a member of my Penticostal church Assembly of God since 2006! And we have black african americans who attends the church and are members of the church as well and racial couples who have four beautiful children. My Pastor's daughter is married to a black guy and both of them have three beautiful children and they are proud grandparents of all three of them. There's nothing wrong with having black and whites attend churches together in the family of God's Kingdom! God doesn't care about skin color, he only is very concerned about the condition of the heart. The condition of the heart! It can be an evil heart living a lifestyle of sin and crime and not believing, or a heart of compassion and mercy for people and telling them about Jesus. That is the way God would love for it to be! That is the heart of Jesus folks! Again, God don't care abour the skin color, he is only and very concerned about the condition of the heart. And I honestly don't think Beth Moore is speaking "against" or preaching "against" blacks at all, she is actually saying that blacks and whites now a days are not getting along in the churches today! If y'all read the title of this video, you'll understand what she's talking about! The title says this---> "Racism "in" the "white Church 2023". In other words it sounds like to me in the church filled with whites, they are against blacks. That's what it sounds like to to me! And God said we shouldn't be that way at all! And Beth is against racism and so am I! It should NOT be in the churches! Blacks, whites, blues, greens, whatever color you are, we all need to be together and pull together as brothers and sisters in Christ, because He is coming back soon! I went into a sandwich shop in RDU years ago, two very well know evangelical pastors having a convention there,if I said their names (I won’t)was there when I walk in being now the only woman of color in deli, they looked at me as if I was sub-human with a way of looking down under their noses. Not knowing I was at that time a tither to their ministry. After that experience with their conduct I took my tithing else where, I saw their true color shine through and it wasn’t God like. No Christ love there! Only love of money.
