I cry. He did a grand job singing this.
His singing is great, but the arrangement is beyond atrocious. He could have created a masterpiece and it is not his fault at all he didn't - it is the fault of the producers who turned one of the most introspective songs in rock and roll history into a Meatloaf number.
First time I watched this, gave me goosebumps, 5 years later, still gives me goosebumps

I’ve watched this clip many times and I can’t help but get teary-eyed every single time. The song is beautiful, yes, but what really gets me is your story. The amount of courage and determination it takes to take a criticism that would’ve normally broken a 12 year old and not only used it to make themselves better, but then to perform in front of the man that dragged you before to be judged again and show him what’s up..that is what is truly beautiful about this clip. You are very talented and I wish you nothing but the best for your life and career.

This is one of my favorites and I've been watching this audition for a long time when I wanted to hear it. I know now it was 7 years ago, but I'm still so proud of you for coming back and showing David that yes, you are good enough.
