18:55 or so, they start talking about lactose intolerance. So what that actually is is, dairy products contain a sugar called lactose, which is a disaccharide. This means that it's made up of two simpler sugar molecules connected through an oxygen atom. This heavier molecule is difficult for our bodies to absorb through the intestinal lining, so our bodies in infancy produce a protein called "Lactase", who's job is to find that oxygen bond and break it, breaking lactose down into sucrose and galactose, both of which our intestines can readily absorb.
Lactose is produced in the early small intestines, thus having a chance to break down the sugar before it gets much further. However, as humans age, we make less and less lactose, leaving the lactose in it's disaccharide form as it travels further into the intestines where gut bacteria consume it and produce a mixture of hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and methane as byproducts of their metabolism.
However, many cultures had at some point in history began to cultivate crops and domesticate livestock, which brought dairy products along with it. These cultures regularly consumed these dairy products and over time, natural selection tended to favor those that could drink milk into their adulthood. So now some 70% of those of european ancestry have a genetic mutation called lactase persistance, which prevents their body from producing less lactase as they age.
The only way Arin could have developed lactose intolerance is if he was going to anyway. You don't have to drink milk to "keep your tolerance up". Not to complain about him being wrong about something, just hoping to help those with it figure out what the hell it is.

@@chenstormstout9456 once you go to reaturaunts that make fresh food, Applebee's tastes like hot garbage. I used to love Applebee's until I ventured to better places. It's VERY mediocre.
Cheesecake Factory is incrementally better than T.G.I.Chillapplebee’s because at the very minimum, you can please any picky eater with that phone book of a menu.

Their joke about being seated and not being served then seeing other people get their food that were seated after you before you get your drinks... Yeah that actually happened to me once at a Japanese Steakhouse. Had to walk out. It was the worst service I have ever experienced. They actually sat me at a table that was about to be served and then moved me off the table right before they served it to make me wait at another one. Was so shocking.
I’m glad that these food takes are nearly 40 minutes long and are mostly from Arin.

Denny’s is a quintessential American experience. It’s not a destination, it’s a place you end up. Not by choice, but by circumstance. Having a bad meal, bad trip, or parking lot trauma experience at Denny’s is an inherently American experience that I believe everyone should have once.
My family and I always go to Denny’s when we go on holiday to Florida . We all love it! I’m wondering if this is because I’m Scottish and we don’t have Denny’s over here and that’s why I love it😅

Oh, I got a peanut stuck in my esophagus as a child and it stayed there for over a month, decomposing, and it ended up taking multiple surgeries to remove all of it. Anyway, I have lung damage from that and it makes my laugh sound like a honk. Was reminded of that when Arin mentioned he had a peanut stuck in his throat
