the fact that pearl organically found the etho study lab by herself is horrendously funny. i genuinely thought no one would find that by themselves.
And of all things it was a decorative redstone torch that gave it away...

Tiny redstone tip: The comparator decay circuit looses 2 signal strength each loop. If you replace the pieces of redstone dust the comparator at one end points into with a solid block, it only looses 1 signal strength each loop :)

My hope is Gem stops stocking her pickle shop, and Pearl takes her to court for it. It'd be the dumbest reason ever to sue someone, which is a perfect escalation for Pearl's hounding of Gem

I love how Pearl's style changes each season. It gives more variety in her builds, which always brings me to watch more of her content.

The purpur reminds me of a render in progress which shows you what the final result will look like in a standard, uniform block. Really funny and will be interesting to see if this gets Etho to finally finish his house.

Pearl, you can also use calibrated skulk sensors around gems base and have them activate on very discrete/niche sounds like eating or doors opening. May make the prank harder for her to discover

Love the minigame hub area! Incredibly cozy design and colors, lovely layout, brilliant texture work! Also very fitting for it's purpose as an intersection with enough room to move around

The Purpur roof really looks like the textures just stopped loading and the purple is a placeholder blank state lol. It blends in perfectly build wise which really helps it feel that way. 10/10

Idea #1 for the Granite Shop...a giant-scale kitchen in the style of a sales-floor display model. Stove, refrigerator, a pantry or spice rack for a storage system, obviously some granite countertops, maybe an island, a copper sink, and some fancy cabinetry for pots n pans and other furnishings.
Idea #2 for the Granite Shop...Doc is selling wood for sand, why not create some lovely chaos by requiring Hermits to pay you in "amounts of their permit shop items" (as some items are worth more than others, you might need to set up specific exchange rates for each hermit). The shop could be called Taken For Granite, which is a special kind of pun called an eggcorn.
Gem: "I don't know if anyone's ever really going to find this, but it adds to the creepy vibes"

I laughed to tears when I saw a hidden Etho shrine under Gems base. Now, I gotta go watch her videos to see what that is all about. And I want to see the reaction when she starts hearing the audio.
That was no prank on Etho. That was a boon. I legit love the finishing touches to his roof. Color and all. Now, hopefully if he ever comes back to the server. We can see his reaction.

When in the pranking mood, you should take a look at the mission possible building.
Many of the missions are pranks and there is even one for buying out a shop.
So you can satisfy your impulse and get rewarded for it at the same time.

And there is also one for putting a noteblock at someone's base.
I find it interesting that there will be a gaming district, but at the same time, a lot of the shops have awesome games already in them. More games, totally here for that.
I LOVE these videos where hermits just be themselves and not do a lot of work
I do enjoy watching hermits working on big projects, but it’s amazing to see them also have fun and be goofy :3
Speaking of granite blocks, the block that was at position 0 (all axis) was a granite block, and Ren collected it. Before watching that early video of season 10, I had no idea that a tradition like 'grabbing the block at the all zeroes coordinate' existed. Kinda a neat little thing, and could even be put on display as an artifact proving the worth of granite as a building block. It is the root of the whole world, so to speak. 🙂

Anytime i heard the "do you have any pickles?", I thought of the videos with the duck and the "do you have any grapes?". I always love some pranking.

what a wonderful episode! i've been saving this video all weekend to watch as a treat on sunday, and i'm so glad i did :D my jaw literally DROPPED at the portal timelapse, the build is in such a beautiful style! and the PRANK REDSTONE! the way pearl casually used a pulse extender to fix an otherwise-annoying problem was incredible -- i had no idea the solution could be so straightforward
i've been watching since the beginning of season 9 and it's so clear how much pearl has grown, not just as a minecrafter but also as a video maker. her videos are consistently my favorite hermicraft episodes every week. so excited to see what she does with the interior of the dye shop!

The portal of the Gaming District almost looks like the Stanley Cup.
8:10 sounds to me like the song "Duck street (Remastered cover)" by Milk in the Microvave which is a parody cross between "The duck song" (where the duck went to the lemonade stand) and one of Willie Wood's song
But
Instead of a Duck there is Pearl who want's to buy all the picles from Gem's coral shop.
That's the vibe that I'm getting.
I think a brazier on top of the tower would look pretty neat. You could have a glass fire that grows with the gaming district.

Purpur really is a good block for roofs lol! (also sofas! could definitely advertise it as great for small details with a pop of colour!)
