ABOUT OLD G2 AND B1 ENGINE DETAIL.
Original G2 engines from England were last assembled up to 1968 in india. From 1971, Enfield bullets were built in India with B1 engines.
Initial B1 Engines were imported from England By Enfield India till 1976. They were G2 engines stamped as B1. The Redditch company shut down its manufacturing in 1970. There was plenty of supplies to be utilized till 1976. After 1976 Enfield India started manufacturing complete bikes on their own.
Pre 1968 all number started G2, + had EI number as well. Engine and frame numbers matched when left factory.From 1969 engine numbers started with B, the actual serial number xxxxx / followed by a single number: 9 = 1969, 1 = 1971 etc and then a letter that denotes the month. This continued until 1982 when the number sequence changed again, B followed by the 'year' code letter, then serial number XXXXXX. Last English made G2 supplied to India was in 1964. ALL engines and gear box after 1964 were entirely of Indian assembly, made from local and imported parts. Last parts supplied from England was the Con-rod, in 1976. From 1976 on the Bullet is entirely of Indian manufacture.
The G2 engine originally belong from England up to 1969 in India, after 1969 enfield india manufacture engine self in India and before 1970 madras company ( Enfield India) were purchase/ received form england. The last model of G2 engine's motorcycle in india was 1969. the most feature of G2 engine's is engine sound , in G2 engine timing gears were very silent then b1 engine , the G2 engines are performed good or slow RPM with the AMAL carburetors but mines point of AMAL carburetors was mileage that is only 20-25 km/hrs. but the best feature is firing which is about my experience i think 1 firing in 0.75 second and it is such mind blowing those you are calculate the firing of bullet in slow RPM.
The Royal Enfield products normally show the personality of the owner with the established cult among the bullet riders. Engine
Bullet STD-350 comes with air-cooled, 4-stroke engine with a displacement of 346 cc. The engine has a support for single cylinder. Bullet 350 develops 18 bhp of peak power at 5000 rpm and generates a torque of 32 Nm at 3000 rpm. It has 4-speed right foot gear shift type transmission.
Design And Comfort
In terms of looks, Bullet Standard -350 retains the pristine old look. The length and width of STD 350 are 2120mm, 750mm respectively. It has a proportionate performance-weight ratio. It has ground clearance of 140mm. The front suspensions in Bullet 350 include telescopic hydraulic damping155mm travel suspensions and the rear suspension includes 130 mm travel gas filled shock absorbers with swing arm. Bullet 350 has drum brake in the front and same type in the rear. The design and look of the bike renders a big ego satisfaction and commands respect in society. Bullet STD offers great comfort and safety features, apart from the macho looks it possesses, making it one of the best bikes in its class and segment.
Ride And Handling
The ride, stability, pick up, handling are all perfect in Bullet 350 with some 50 year old basic design. It is considered as one of the safest powerful bikes in India and it has solid weight, large wheelbase and big tyre. To ride this bike will give a lasting experience and will long to own for oneself. This is the bike that suits for the open road where we can shoot out with the unique thudding sounds. However this bike is hard to handle in the heavy traffic. It gives about 35 kmpl and comes in affordable price.

Intha bike ku splendour carb potu around 5 years irukum bro. No problem came. But performance low airum. I mean sudden pickup irukathu and engine beat slight difference irukum. thats all bro.

Water vibration enna use bro. I think vibrate more depends by crank weight. Is it correct bro.
Idle speed vibration is related to the running vibration bro. Water vibration just shows our bike smoothness its for our satisfaction it will nt determine anything.
More crank weight give smoothness means latest bikes have less weight with less vibration.

super bro nalla description lot of information with details. I have seen a 1974 model bullet for purchase. seller claims it is B1 model engine. But i dont find the 3 screw breather pipe or the v cut below the point delco. seller says bike came originally like that or while restoring they might have changed it. whether it is ok if i go for the purchase. seller also not sure about whether it is heavy crank but assured that splendour carb is fixed while restoring and mileage is 35-40km sure shot.

Weight of crank is only 9kg. I have made it 10.5kg..now the thumb is just awesome. Able to ride at 20km on fourth gear..and speed riding is also possible unlike other CI bullets..that's the speciality of 74 model
