I get having preferences for your partner but girl is overreacting. Betrayed? Grow up! Its hair. It will grow back. I recently cut my hair and shortened it drastically and my friends were shocked but they because they know me with suuuper long hair but they understood it was my choice. Even my own mom who was highly against the cutting said that shorter looked nice.
Plus its his hair. If a girl came home with a new haircut and the guy would freak out at the change, everyone and their dog would be calling him names for trying to controll her. Homegirl has the right to voice her dislike because again, people have preferences but breaking up over something so small like hair?
