Mine didnt come with the large basket, can I still put the bottle on top? Or can I replace it with the small basket thats used to pick up the bottle?

I would take it back to the store. You need the large basket.

It should turn off when all of the water boils out. Use the little measuring utensil for however minutes you want it warm your milk 🍼 or baby food 🤗
