안녕하세요 저 신발 주인입니다. 저 신발이 2년 전 제 생일 때 사정이 안 좋은데 불구하고 좋은 신발 신겨보고 싶다고 어머니께서 저에게 처음으로 선물해주신 소중한 신발입니다 그러다 보니 가장 소중한 신발이어서 상태가 안 좋은데도 신고 다녀 저렇게 됐네요ㅠ 유튜브 보다 좋은 이벤트가 있길래 한번 해보자 해서 신청을 해본 건데 당첨돼서 너무 기쁘네요 말이 길어졌는데 이벤트 뽑아주신 vetiver 님 진심으로 고맙습니다 복원해주신 만큼 더 애지중지하며 신을게요!! 진심으로 감사드립니다!!!

Hello I'm the owner of shoes in vid. these are my birthday present from my mother 2 years ago. She wanted to let me wear fancy shoes although she was hard to afford it. These are my mother's first present so percious to me. So that's the reason why i wear those though condition was bad.I just applied this restore event and glad to be chosen. This is the kind of repair I was expecting from a shoe repair shop. Last time I sent my converse, the repair man just added leather at the back and said the heels are a lost cause.

I love my chucks so much they're literally hanging on for dear life. They're barely attached anymore and they threads are all over the place. They're my favorite pair of shoes and my go-to for sure. Love driving in them, also. Best road and pedal feel (standard transmission).

This is not resoling. This is essentially like adding a "topper" to more traditionally constructed shoes. except here it's a different (flexible) material, which is what repair shops usually do, even when they shouldn't (that is, if the damage goes further than the outsole, like in the case of this shoe).
Resoling sneakers can be possible though, although it's much harder to do because cemented soles (that's true not just sneakers, but also most cheap and designer shoes), and you certainly can't do it indefinitely, like you could with Goodyear Welted shoes.
Whenever someone says something “can’t be done” it’s because they *don’t have the guts* to admit they’re too *unexperienced* and *uninterested* to do it. Anything can be done if you bring your brain to the table

Grey Ed If people get things restored and cleaned then you have less clothing waste taking thousands to millions of years to decompose. Chemicals like these aren’t that harmful because he’s not using a lot at once and he’s not spilling them onto the ground or anything

other than the paint on mid sole, its insanely good. Before anyone attacking me, the mid-sole for chuck 70s are yellowish even if they are new ones. After the decapant, it already looks like a new one.

I have these gorillaz white high top converse that need restoration, they were a gift to me when I was around 14-15 . I wore them a lot and somehow gum got on one of the shoes 😢, then my brothers dog chewed on the back. I really love them , seeing this restoration gives me hope into keeping them so I can one day get them fixed.
