I can’t be the only that thinks that those AF1’s were in very good shape even before the restoration lol
Thats because they werent dirty at all, the black stuff you see on them are scratches left by sandpaper, people who make custom shoes put acetone and use sandpaper in order to remove all the finisher applied previously on the leather so the paint they are going to put sticks better into the material
Why did he have to do that to the soles bro they look awful and didnt need the sanding and replacement

@@feb22tebek The paint came off, it wasn't from sandpaper. Other than that, the shoe didn't need to be repaired, the owner of the shoes just wanted them customized.
Imo they would look better if they were even more beat up,
but this is so satisfying tho

정말 볼때마다 배우고 싶은 스킬들이 많네요. 그리고 미국은 저런 스니커즈 리페어 서비스가 수요가 어느정도 받쳐주는 뉴욕 다운타운 같은곳에 한 두곳정도 있을까 그게 아니면 눈을 씻고 찾아봐도 (워싱턴 디씨 근방에 거주중입니다) 없습니다. 지금 신는 트리플 s에서 가장 걱정하는 부분이 저 영상에 나오듯이 뒷굽 부분이 시간이 지나면 헤지는건데 지금 최대한 조심조심 신고 다니지만 언젠가는 결국 헤질거고 그러면 버리는것 외엔 답이 없다는 사실이 참 안타깝네요 (뉴욕도 정확히 어느곳에서 이정도 실력으로 해주는지도 솔직히 잘 몰라서 보내는 방법도 모릅니다.) 정말 볼때마다 감탄밖에 나오지 않습니다.
