Always nice to see the new contributions to the best piano techniques. In re-making my technique via your guidance over the last year, everything is much more natural. I play mostly jazz scores and spreading the hand was a very bad and ingrained habit. I learned from you the value of lateral forearm movement for navigation rather than the intentional practice of reaching with fingers and spreading hand to reach new positions. I have gone through every one of your tutorials at least 2 x over the past year. Made all the difference in progress into advanced level playing. You are in a narrow category of very fine teachers. Thank you again. You are doing good work, meaning healthy playing and efficiency guidance.

@@PIANO_LAB Yes. You sure have. Like so many, I needed so many improvements in various aspects that I decided to start from ground 0, despite having logged 10-15 years of bad habits. Your sequential course covered the basics of technique, very lacking generally because of bad pedagogy. With about half dozen formal in person teachers, not one spent more than 5 minutes on posture, and other (in)efficient playing. I had a very painful injury in the left hip and leg due to bad posture relative to the keyboard; now also have 2 R heel spurs, pedaling probably contributed. Seeing an orthopedist Tuesday.
I'm off to other channels, I believe in the online platform done right; especially Rachel Starritt, who I met on your channel, and some Mortensen, a few others along the way. I sense I have deeply absorbed, habituated the fundamentals of your technical teachings, so now enjoying the benefits.
Your dance card might be full but a couple suggestions for Piano Lab directions. Digital keyboard technique, and some styles other than traditional classical, jazz, pop, rock, and all which I sense makes up the majority of players out here.
You are a very fine teacher of piano to all levels. Your personality, downhome honesty and authenticity, patience, good demos. Humor is one style which always sells. For example, since Wang and others have decided to be so revealing, maybe you appear in a Speedo doing Chopin with unexpected wardrobe malfunctions. You're a funny and mischievous guy, leverage it. Hope you can monetize it in some ways.
      Once again, many thanks.
