I studied cosmetics and am working as developer in personal care industry. Wanted to clarify on alcohol part. When brands say Alcohol-free , it means Ethyl alcohol free in general. Cetearyl alcohol and others fall under different section called Fatty alcohols, Although the name is associated with alcohol the primary origin is plants . Infact US FDA says ‘You can call a product alcohol-free if it contains cetearyl alcohol’.

Suppose Deepinder invested in Arata. And Arata is there on blinkit.
So if Deepinder invested in Arata he will defintely promote this company in the website like showing them on top
(Arata has not even them money to promote itself but still he have to do it just to get good returns on his investment).
Other similar category companies will feel that blinkit is biased and all.
So this will kill neutrality.

@@maheshkori2645 Deepinder does not invest brands that do sell on blinkit because it may create a sense of biasness among other brands of the same category that also sell on blinkit. In short if he invests in a company that sells their products on blinkit, other companies may think that he will manipulate the recommendations of products so that the brand that he has invested in sells more.
Blinkit is I think sub brand of Zomato that's why, in future(if deepinder would yave invested) there may be allegations that why arata is doing good on blinkit because blinkit promotesthem compared to other brands in there category because deepinder invested@@maheshkori2645
They need to get in touch with the sharks before the start of the season and know which sectors the sharks cant invest in and then bring in the pitchers according to the shark present that day. Deepinder being out so mamy times due to conflict is unfair to the pitchers who now have 1 less shark by default to get an offer from.

don't know why Anupam is being so negative. These guys are damn good entrepreneurs; highly educated and experienced, they have seen the world, know the ins and outs of their business and super quick on their feet. They know if they want to build a solid brand they have to incur losses in order to play the long game.

He is very smart and analytical but they way he is being out due to conflict of interest in most of the cases, it's a huge disadvantage for aspriant entrepreneurs. I think shark tank should think about scheduling those food or e-commerce based business people to reduce this problem
Makers should by default replace dipender with piyush or riteish before start of the episode.. As he have conflict of affair. And the deal could have been much better.
