Ye Chingti and Xiaoyan were great characters in this drama. The supporting characters were well developed.

Lol this drama save my sanity during my quarantine. LOL this drama dropped when the pandemic was at its height lol no matter how ridiculous it may seem now that the craziness of pandemic is almost over, lol this drama saved me

Same here. It was the most perfect form of escapism I could find. Its fantasy from another culture in a language I do not speak. Well that got my mind off the lockdown thats for sure.
Weirdly enough its kinda similar to the storyarc/characters of "Gabriel's inferno": guy falls for an otherworldly woman (he thinks angel instead of xuenren's fairy) he can not be with while he watches her friendzone the competition and gives him hell and he doesn't know why she isn't throwing herself at him like the others do. Only to realise they met before in a "dream" where he broke her heart....basically "its always been you she wants d*mb*ss". So he has to put in the work to get her back. Entj male looks tough but is a big softy with trust and abandonment issues that has a thing for forehead kissing. Infj female that cares for everyone turns out to kick serious *ss and is a lot tougher than she looks. Tough guy ends up seriously whipped by her social manipulation skills. She teaches him emotional intelligence and he teaches her to put herself first....ask permission later.😜 They just work well together for some reason. 👍😍😂

Me too. Now I'm in HSK 2 thanks to the great Chinese cultural ambassador Dilraba. It was so strange going from clips of this one to Peach Blossoms then back again. I still wish they would make an original based on Ten Miles where Feng Jiu is Queen because that world had so much more depth to it.
LOL this was the first drama that I laughed at the immortal guards all wearing face masks.
So much great analysis, bwahaha. The rock with half a heart with not enough blood going to his brain strategizing to save the world by making beds and tea appear! The cool Uncle who fans himself even when it's snowing! The mother who just dropped her child in babysitting! The people that don't tell anything until way too late, like hundreds of years way too late! No wonder I loved this drama!

This is the first cdrama I watched. It got me into cdrama. Although it's not the best but still holds a special place.

Somehow my fave fart(I'm sorry xD part*) of this show was when human DH died from a broken heart. I had 0% investment to this, like NONE at all, and it STILL made me cry.

I would say equally annoying. But since Mark Zhao's acting is a giant saving grace, Yehua and Bai Qian's shenanigan feels less annoying XD
Eh, I have to disagree. Mark Chao's acting was great but that didn't stop Ye Hua from annoying me to no end after his assault on Bai Qian due to not talking about his jealousy of Mo Yuan to her.

I'm not sure which assault you're referring to, though, because Yehua almost always takes initiatives. And according to Bai Qian's reactions, a lot of things look like assault. Although, to be fair, the whole drama is about Bai Qian's admirers doing problematic things and then apologizing to her. So if Yehua doesn't make mistakes, there wouldn't be any story 😂

In watching a Xianxia drama, all you need is to play dumb so that you can enjoy watching it. Hahahaha. And I'm one of those. Just don't mind how stupid the storyline is and the character, as long as it's a good drama and amazing xianxia drama

I always feel they didn't need to make that drama. Sorry but in TMOPB that pair was just so not working and nothing to write home about imo that when I heard about "Eternal Love of dream" I thought to myself it was a waste of time and was just a useless project that brought absolutely nothing.
And it seems Dilreba can't close her mouth. She always has that slightly opened-mouthed expression on her face ? That paired with her "naughty childish fox character"... ugh...
I should comment after one year.. But.. I wonder what if Bai Qian goes with Dijun instead Yehua.. Like a swap.. Dijun wit Bai Qian and Yehua with Fengjiu.. But.. It's doesn't make sense.. Bcz Yehua dan Fengjiu besicaly teenager that doing a lot of sacrifice for their love interest with nonsense of life matter..also..don't forget the age gap. 😂 while Bai Qian and Dijun don't give a fck 🤣

The only drama I've watched that I'd never rate over 2/10. The 2 are for the cast(casting) and the cast(working hard despite horrible plot). Also the book isn't any better.
