I went on the Celebration 2 weeks ago and it was an awesome experience. We had so much fun! The kids were a bit rowdy, but we expected it being a summer cruise. It was my first excel class ship and I would definitely do it again.
Going on the Celebration Sept 2025, me and the hubby will definitely buy life jackets. That is just plain crazy not to have them in the rooms now!! What are they thinking 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Sailed on Celebration 4/30 1) we walked straight on the boat for the most part with 1030 check in. Only stopping for dog bag check and xray screening 2) getting off the boat was about a 30 minute wait at our scheduled time. I was impressed considering the horror stories I've seen online. 3) we ate at every restaurant except for Rudy's, and I think the best food we had was at the sushi restaurant, which had not only sushi but several small side dishes. Street eats wings were a solid #2. Was also not impressed by food at Cucino 4) Wifi was great for us with the premium plan. My wife worked the whole trip with no issues. 5) drinks were hit or miss but I enjoyed the margs at Guys bbq and obviously most stuff at the Alchemy bar. 6) we totally missed the white night party (which ended at 11pm) because we wanted to attend Family Feud. Hopefully next time they'll have that rearranged. Been watching y'all for a year now and taken in so much information that made our 1st cruise in 15 years completely stress free because we were well informed and prepared. Cheers 🥂
Embarkation was smooth, my wife just booked the cruise but didn’t know what we had. We were in the Havana section so during embarkation once we passed the dogs they let us go on a different line and we were moving. I agree with you guys on the dining, specialty dining saved our eating experience. We did a seven day cruise in late April and probably went to the dining twice. Chi bang 2X Rudi’s seafood grill and the hibachi was 🔥 we paid the extra for Chi-bang because it was so good. Debarkation was a nightmare no one paid attention to the zones the elevators were filled up so just took the elevator up to come back down. We had a later flight out of Fort Lauderdale. So once you get off you have to wait for the bus service no one was there directing anyone because some buses went to Miami international and Fort Lauderdale. But we’ve learned Uber is better during debarkation. In my opinion do the Havana section put you close to everything shows specialty dining and all.

We were definitely in that captain’s lounge for 50 minutes with the 10a embarkation time. The thing I figured out with the debarkation and the notification from the Carnival Hub app was that people were not waiting for the notification, they were going down early, causing a bit of a traffic jam, which in turn caused Carnival not to be able to send the notifications. We went and sat by the casino and just waited, when that traffic died down, the notification came, we went down and were off the ship in 6 minutes 😊😊

I sailed on the Fantasy (thought it was the Celebration- oops) for my very first (and only so far😅) cruise Sept 2016. It was a 3 day cruise. My friend and I were super late because we missed our flights to Miami - me from DC and her from Raleigh - so boarding was super easy because there was no line😂. I don’t remember any of that though. I remember getting a guys burger, laying on a window at the front of the ship for sail away, getting sea sick on the way back to Miami, having quiet time on the deck in the jacuzzi and just sitting enjoying the lightning in the distance, dining in the dining hall, the port of Nassau, the long walk to the beach, wishing I could’ve gotten my hair braided by the braiders, the people that were at our dining table, that we watched a show (but not the show itself), elegant night where I didn’t like the dress I packed so I didn’t partake or take pics. I didn’t even know there was a buffet. I enjoyed the dining options and entertainment. I don’t remember debarkation at all. We walked Miami Beach before going to the airport then went our separate ways. I’m sailing the Elation for family reunion this September and with my son on the Radiance in December. I cannot wait. I appreciate you guys’ tips and experiences 🥰
I went on the Celebration in September 9-16 2023; I got held up in the HOLD TANK on embarkation day and disembarkation day- employees were causing mass confusion and guest were being rude to the porters as they were trying to retrieve their luggage and the porters hadn’t cleared the area the bags were being placed.
Was just on the celebration the end of June. So much to say. I won't go into all of it, but I do agree with you on the wings. On port days, when everything was closed but Guy's and Shaq's, we went ahead and paid for food so we weren't waiting forever for food. The location and line for Guy's was ridiculous! Wasn't worth it. Almost passed out standing in that line. The medics were called for one woman who did almost faint. It was boiling hot and crowded. Anyway, the wings were delicious!! Also ate at the seafood place next to it a couple of times. Didn't mind paying. It was good, and we were eating while everyone else was still in line. Also did the Chef's table and Teppenyaki. Very good! The disembarkation process was horrible! People's nerves were on edge. It wasn't smooth at all. Why have a specific time if everyone is going to start coming down the stairs/elevators? Also, I enjoyed cruise director Lee and the fun squad. Oh! Also, it seems like you had different main dining room choices. It was good most nights, and I got a few dishes to try each night. Didn't know we could switch out for other restaurants. Thanks for that info! It's cool to hear your experience on the ship. Might come back to comment on something else later if it comes to mind.
May sound crazy but next time you go to the Italian spot get the short rib! Just trust me. You’re welcome in advance. Comes with a sauce on the side. Hits every single time. I’ve had it on several ships.
On Carnival Horizon two years ago, I stayed up to midnight to get early boarding and on embarkation day, we ended up in the holding area too, that was confusing! On Carnival Magic last year we paid for faster to fun and it wasn’t faster or fun getting on or off, a mess! I do enjoy getting cabins near the elevator, and you’re right, we haven’t had any issues with elevator noise because you get off elevator and walk away and towards the hallway then to rooms, I love it!!! Just got off the Carnival Freedom from July 15-20. We had priority embarkation and debarkation. We had a 10 AM check-in time and we waited in a holding area as well. Everything prior to that was smooth sailing. We waited for about 45 minutes.
We went on the carnival magic this past march out of miami. We also had a 10 AM. Board time and we did not have to wait once we got through security, we boarded. I really enjoy your channel.And keep them coming
I cruised on the Carnival Celebration last year May 7, 2023- May 14, 2023. Embarkation went very smooth. Debarkation was ok for myself and my cousin as well. We basically waited for the last call to leave. I only ate dinner in the main dining room 3 times. The other nights I ate at Chibangs and Emeril's. The main 2 things I did not like on the Celebration were the layout of the theater and the main club. I kept missing one of the shows due to the seating issues. I'm looking forward to cruising on the Celebration again next year possibly. Side note: My neighbor, who has mobility challenges, had a complete panic attack during her debarkation in December 2023. She told me she became totally overwhelmed with the process.

Haven't been on the Celebration however I went on the Jubilee this past May and the disembarkation sounds like it was the same as Celebration. We are Diamond level and had priority disembarkation and the line was wrap all around the ship. It was definitely a cluster mess. I concur with Stanley... love Big Chicken. Like it better than Guys Burger.
Just got back from a 6 day cruise on the Celebration I agree about the dinning hall food it was hit or miss so me and my wife stopped going. But overall it was a great cruise.
I've been on the celebration a few times and that cruise on may12th was different. It was the 1st time I was kept in the holding tank, 1st time we was held up by customs on debarkation
Went on this ship August 4th to 10th and it is in the bottom two cruise of my nine cruises. The service was below average, food was horrible, activities was subpar, and I hate the layout of the ship. On a positive note, the water was very good...

We have watched your vlogs for years, and you prepared us completely for our adventures. Nothing surprised us. We felt like McGuyver. anything that came up.... we had the solution. Your explanations about the ports and where excursions would depart from was invaluable. Thank you so much. Muster drill on Jubilee 2024 we were told the same thing you have to come back to your Muster station for your vest. But on Celebration in 2023 vest were in the room. Great review ❤ your vblogs.

We didn’t have that issue when we had our 10 am check in time. It went smooth and quickly. From check in to boarding on the ship was maybe 15-20 minutes top. Sorry to hear yours was less pleasant.
I'm glad you mentioned the muster station & the life jackets. On Celebration a couple of months ago, we were told, that in the event of an emergency, we had to go to our muster station for our life jackets. I told my wife that I felt that was a serious safety issue for most people. You stated the very obvious reason. Folks will go report there on embarkation day, just to get it out of the way, and then most will never think of it again. I told my wife to not forget, and made a point of asking her questions about the location several times during the cruise. Hopefully nothing bad ever happens, but if it does, I can see this issue getting brought up in an investigation.

I just sailed the celebration end of May..It was cool, some children was out of control but to be expected I guess! Dining room was a miss we actually waited a long time to get seated but the food wasn’t good at all until… A follow cruiser sitting next to me told me to try the Indian vegetarian option, when I say they some of the best season food u will eat on the ship you will even forget you are eating vegetarian!!! I’m a a southern girl who lives in Alabama, so u know we like our seasoning. It’s a must try!!
I was on the Celebration last May and loved it. I just got off the Mardi Gras and loved it as well, however, I found Lido buffet underwhelming on both ships. Now Guys Burger, Shaq's were my go to spots hands down. I also enjoyed the salad bar on the Serenity deck
Oh no, sucks about Cucina del Capitano. I had a similar MDR experience as you on the Radiance earlier this year and they were a life saver. The chicken Parm was fantastic both times. It's wild how the same company can have such varying experiences on different ships.
We sailed last year October. The food was hit and miss everywhere. The speciality dining was good. Embarkation we was waiting in the same room to. Packed up like sardines and when they did let everyone on they called them by zones. Our check in time was 10 but we didn’t board the ship until 11:45. Debarkation was a more organized mess. Still a mess nonetheless. I would go again tho
We were on Celebration for the 2nd time this past Dec. Everything you said was pretty spot on for our experience as well. Lynette, I agree. Shaq's Chicken is good, but I don't get the hype that makes that line get so long at certain times. I'll eat it, but I'm not gonna stand in line 45min for it. Embark: We also waited in that holding area for a long time. We have priority and had an early arrival time. That was ridiculous. The disembarkation was a cluster. No one was enforcing the zones, so everyone piled into the hallways and jammed everything up. This past May, we sailed on Mardi Gras for the 2nd time. I like the layout of Celebration better, but the Mardi Gras embark & debark was run much smoother. We only sat in the holding area about 15 min. On debark, staff was scattered throughout the ship and enforcing the zones. If a person's zone had not been called, they got turned away. There were no long jammed up lines and we quickly walked off the ship. The quality of food is down. The entertainment overlap is an issue that needs to be smoothed out. And that Center Stage area might look good on paper, but it has some serious issues. I appreciate y'alls content. Hope to see you onboard sometime.
i so love you guys and your energy. i appreciate the tips that you both give... i was on the celebration back in august of last year and i enjoyed it to the fullest. it was a LOT of walking lol... shaq big chicken was pretty good and guy's burger was A1 on point. the seafood spot with those HUUUUGE spice shrimp was sooooooo good.. the steakhouse was good also and the dinning room was 6 out of 10..
Sailed on Celebration last Nov 2023, I thought the food at ChiBang was delicious, others have hated it. MDR was hit or miss all 7 days and some of our group gave up MDR by 4th night lol but there’s so many food options onboard you’ll find something to eat.
I was on the same sailing as well! I sailed the Legend for New Years this year and the food on the legend across the board was 100x better than the celebration! My veggies were good, my steak was good (legend was phenomenal) so much so I ordered it multiple nights on both sailings (get the chimichurri) I ate breakfast in the dining room every morning except debarkation day. I Was soooooo disappointed with the French toast it was Sooooo oily! I didn’t enjoy it at all. However that skillet cake! Baybeeee we ate that every sea day! The water in the dining room was so good. I was gifted so many bottles of wine/champagne this sailing I had too much liquor to carry home! The drinks that I received from the male servers in the casino were trash. However the Asian woman that worked my section most days was my favorite! She memorized my numbers after the 1st day and took care of me every time! I tipped her very well! I ended up bumping into you or seeing you in passing but never had a chance to say hello 👋🏾
I went on a 7 day this June. I rate it a 7 out of 10. We were there for 11am and was scheduled for 1pm, yet got in our room at 2:15. Why was there only two guards checking birth certificates and IDs. It took me one and forty-five minutes while my sister, who had a passport, was done in 15 min.The food and the entertainment need some work. I end up paying for steak. The main dinning room was empty after day three. Yes, Shack was great!
😂😂😂 I'm dying at the midnight buffet. It was all over the place lol. My husband and I ate at a few restaurants, not really impressed. I think the dining room breakfast, buffet breakfast lunch and dinner were better than the restaurants. And that carbonara was absolutely disgusting in the dining room 😢
I went last Dec and we didn’t see the dogs and embarkation was just ok. We had to sit also. The service was slow onboard but to me because it was the week of Christmas and crowded cruise I expected it
Just got off a8 day celebration on 7/21 wasn’t a fan. Pool shut down every other day from kids puking in pool. Cruisers hygiene was poor, covid went around the ship. At least 5 ppl on my floor caught it including me. Leon was great and the biggest highlight of the trip. Food in the main dining was tragic, did enjoy the speciality places. All the quick eats stayed packed. Hope my next carnival cruise is miles better
I just sailed on the Celebration July 13th-21st, 8 Day ABC Island. The itinerary was great, we absolutely loved the ABC Islands, Curacao is probably my favorite island in the Caribbean! Embarkation was ok, dogs and all but it went by pretty fast and smooth! We had a 10:30 check in time and we were on the ship by 11:30! Debarkation was a hot mess, took forever to get off the ship, once in customs the process went fast! Our state room was room 16243 and we had a rough, windy sailing, one night we had 70 mile an hour winds, we hit a wave so hard, thought we bounced off a reef!!! It was scary that night!!! Not a fan of deck 16 balcony rooms! The food on the ship was subpar at best, we did a good job of mixing up are specialty dinning and main dinning! But Shaq's was great, Guy's was good, service on the ship was good overall, Camp Ocean workers had attitudes like nobody's business! But overall, Celebration was ok, it is currently my favorite ship, but I sail on Harmony of the seas in September and I think that may change!
We will be on Mardi Gras in September and plan to try Shaq's but our go to restaurant is Guys Burgers so we will do that first. We will also do the Steakhouse one night.
listen... the fried green tomatoes?? i'm STILL thinking about them. i agree about the overlapping events too. i was on the pride last week and noticed the same thing. this year, it felt like the schedule was packed with more events than before. i felt like i was missing out on so much.
Carnival probably overlapped because it be so crowded at these events which would make sense. I wish they would do that for the limelight lounge. The more events, the more people have a choice to go to and it wouldn’t be over crowded.
Watching the show. I just wish Carnival would serve some type of breakfast turkey meats. My first cruise was last year and I’m like I don’t have any breakfast meats😂🤦🏾♀️
@@LifeWithUsTV if you go to a Bass Pro shop you can see some of the fishing vest there. They have ones that inflate automatically when it hits the water which are lighter overall.

I was on this sailing with y'all. We were pulled into the room after the dogs sniffed our bags. Didn't find ANYTHING and am still wondering what happened. We boarded at 2:06 pm but, it had to be the smoothest embarkation. The downside, we had to carry our luggage. We boarded, hit the muster station and to the room, since it was ready. Check your documents, methods of payment, itinerary, INSURANCE!!!

@@iverymaven7298 Yes, our bags alerted the K9. I'm from a state that it's legal. However, I don't do it, but was in a car that does, so the aroma was on our luggage. You are taken into a small room after you and your bags are x-rayed. They will search EVERY article of your luggage. Checking candy bags too, making sure there are no edibles. Once he saw I was a FED, I was released immediately. I had a damn good cruise and I hope the same for you. Now, there was the smell of it on the ship, but not sure how they managed to get it on board.
I went on the Celebration about 2 years ago. Nothing like the Mardi Gras. The atmosphere was dead. I was not feeling it. The only specialty restaurant I usually visit is the steak house.
That's why i always go 2 days early and then stay a day after before I drive. if we don't be stopping to see family , I will fly but most of the time I drive.

I had 1000 checkin on the Breeze in (Galveston) & Horizon (Miami) I was also FTTF still boarded both times between 1130-1200🤷🏽♀️ Galveston disembarkation was better.

The holding tank is odd 😮 My April sailing we had a 10:30 check in & FTTF… they let us right through! Same with my sailing last September, maybe it’s a port of Miami thing… My last 2 were out of Charleston & Norfolk.
We really don’t do the dining because they are a little slow and the food is never hot because they serving everyone around the same time so it’s better to skip it all together. Thanks for the tip on the elevators. Stanley the woman is always right……lol

I went on the Celebration in September 9-16 2023; I got held up in the HOLD TANK on embarkation day and disembarkation day- employees were causing mass confusion and guest were being rude to the porters as they were trying to retrieve their luggage and the porters hadn’t cleared the area the bags were being placed.

Was just on the celebration the end of June. So much to say. I won't go into all of it, but I do agree with you on the wings. On port days, when everything was closed but Guy's and Shaq's, we went ahead and paid for food so we weren't waiting forever for food. The location and line for Guy's was ridiculous! Wasn't worth it. Almost passed out standing in that line. The medics were called for one woman who did almost faint. It was boiling hot and crowded. Anyway, the wings were delicious!! Also ate at the seafood place next to it a couple of times. Didn't mind paying. It was good, and we were eating while everyone else was still in line. Also did the Chef's table and Teppenyaki. Very good!
The disembarkation process was horrible! People's nerves were on edge. It wasn't smooth at all. Why have a specific time if everyone is going to start coming down the stairs/elevators?
Also, I enjoyed cruise director Lee and the fun squad.
Oh! Also, it seems like you had different main dining room choices. It was good most nights, and I got a few dishes to try each night. Didn't know we could switch out for other restaurants. Thanks for that info! It's cool to hear your experience on the ship. Might come back to comment on something else later if it comes to mind.
May sound crazy but next time you go to the Italian spot get the short rib! Just trust me. You’re welcome in advance. Comes with a sauce on the side. Hits every single time. I’ve had it on several ships.

On Carnival Horizon two years ago, I stayed up to midnight to get early boarding and on embarkation day, we ended up in the holding area too, that was confusing! On Carnival Magic last year we paid for faster to fun and it wasn’t faster or fun getting on or off, a mess! I do enjoy getting cabins near the elevator, and you’re right, we haven’t had any issues with elevator noise because you get off elevator and walk away and towards the hallway then to rooms, I love it!!! Just got off the Carnival Freedom from July 15-20. We had priority embarkation and debarkation. We had a 10 AM check-in time and we waited in a holding area as well. Everything prior to that was smooth sailing. We waited for about 45 minutes.
We went on the carnival magic this past march out of miami. We also had a 10 AM. Board time and we did not have to wait once we got through security, we boarded. I really enjoy your channel.And keep them coming
I cruised on the Carnival Celebration last year May 7, 2023- May 14, 2023. Embarkation went very smooth. Debarkation was ok for myself and my cousin as well. We basically waited for the last call to leave. I only ate dinner in the main dining room 3 times. The other nights I ate at Chibangs and Emeril's. The main 2 things I did not like on the Celebration were the layout of the theater and the main club. I kept missing one of the shows due to the seating issues. I'm looking forward to cruising on the Celebration again next year possibly. Side note: My neighbor, who has mobility challenges, had a complete panic attack during her debarkation in December 2023. She told me she became totally overwhelmed with the process.

Haven't been on the Celebration however I went on the Jubilee this past May and the disembarkation sounds like it was the same as Celebration. We are Diamond level and had priority disembarkation and the line was wrap all around the ship. It was definitely a cluster mess. I concur with Stanley... love Big Chicken. Like it better than Guys Burger.

Just got back from a 6 day cruise on the Celebration I agree about the dinning hall food it was hit or miss so me and my wife stopped going. But overall it was a great cruise.
I've been on the celebration a few times and that cruise on may12th was different. It was the 1st time I was kept in the holding tank, 1st time we was held up by customs on debarkation
Went on this ship August 4th to 10th and it is in the bottom two cruise of my nine cruises. The service was below average, food was horrible, activities was subpar, and I hate the layout of the ship. On a positive note, the water was very good...

Muster drill on Jubilee 2024 we were told the same thing you have to come back to your Muster station for your vest. But on Celebration in 2023 vest were in the room. Great review ❤ your vblogs.

We had to wait in the holding tank as well, but the time it took to get access to our cabin was much shorter than previous cruises.
We didn’t have that issue when we had our 10 am check in time. It went smooth and quickly. From check in to boarding on the ship was maybe 15-20 minutes top. Sorry to hear yours was less pleasant.

I'm glad you mentioned the muster station & the life jackets. On Celebration a couple of months ago, we were told, that in the event of an emergency, we had to go to our muster station for our life jackets. I told my wife that I felt that was a serious safety issue for most people. You stated the very obvious reason. Folks will go report there on embarkation day, just to get it out of the way, and then most will never think of it again. I told my wife to not forget, and made a point of asking her questions about the location several times during the cruise. Hopefully nothing bad ever happens, but if it does, I can see this issue getting brought up in an investigation.

I just sailed the celebration end of May..It was cool, some children was out of control but to be expected I guess! Dining room was a miss we actually waited a long time to get seated but the food wasn’t good at all until… A follow cruiser sitting next to me told me to try the Indian vegetarian option, when I say they some of the best season food u will eat on the ship you will even forget you are eating vegetarian!!! I’m a a southern girl who lives in Alabama, so u know we like our seasoning. It’s a must try!!

I was on the Celebration last May and loved it. I just got off the Mardi Gras and loved it as well, however, I found Lido buffet underwhelming on both ships. Now Guys Burger, Shaq's were my go to spots hands down. I also enjoyed the salad bar on the Serenity deck

Oh no, sucks about Cucina del Capitano. I had a similar MDR experience as you on the Radiance earlier this year and they were a life saver. The chicken Parm was fantastic both times. It's wild how the same company can have such varying experiences on different ships.

We sailed last year October. The food was hit and miss everywhere. The speciality dining was good. Embarkation we was waiting in the same room to. Packed up like sardines and when they did let everyone on they called them by zones. Our check in time was 10 but we didn’t board the ship until 11:45. Debarkation was a more organized mess. Still a mess nonetheless. I would go again tho
We were on Celebration for the 2nd time this past Dec. Everything you said was pretty spot on for our experience as well. Lynette, I agree. Shaq's Chicken is good, but I don't get the hype that makes that line get so long at certain times. I'll eat it, but I'm not gonna stand in line 45min for it. Embark: We also waited in that holding area for a long time. We have priority and had an early arrival time. That was ridiculous. The disembarkation was a cluster. No one was enforcing the zones, so everyone piled into the hallways and jammed everything up. This past May, we sailed on Mardi Gras for the 2nd time. I like the layout of Celebration better, but the Mardi Gras embark & debark was run much smoother. We only sat in the holding area about 15 min. On debark, staff was scattered throughout the ship and enforcing the zones. If a person's zone had not been called, they got turned away. There were no long jammed up lines and we quickly walked off the ship. The quality of food is down. The entertainment overlap is an issue that needs to be smoothed out. And that Center Stage area might look good on paper, but it has some serious issues. I appreciate y'alls content. Hope to see you onboard sometime.

i so love you guys and your energy. i appreciate the tips that you both give... i was on the celebration back in august of last year and i enjoyed it to the fullest. it was a LOT of walking lol... shaq big chicken was pretty good and guy's burger was A1 on point. the seafood spot with those HUUUUGE spice shrimp was sooooooo good.. the steakhouse was good also and the dinning room was 6 out of 10..
Sailed on Celebration last Nov 2023, I thought the food at ChiBang was delicious, others have hated it. MDR was hit or miss all 7 days and some of our group gave up MDR by 4th night lol but there’s so many food options onboard you’ll find something to eat.
I was on the same sailing as well! I sailed the Legend for New Years this year and the food on the legend across the board was 100x better than the celebration! My veggies were good, my steak was good (legend was phenomenal) so much so I ordered it multiple nights on both sailings (get the chimichurri)
I ate breakfast in the dining room every morning except debarkation day. I Was soooooo disappointed with the French toast it was Sooooo oily! I didn’t enjoy it at all. However that skillet cake! Baybeeee we ate that every sea day!
The water in the dining room was so good. I was gifted so many bottles of wine/champagne this sailing I had too much liquor to carry home!
The drinks that I received from the male servers in the casino were trash. However the Asian woman that worked my section most days was my favorite! She memorized my numbers after the 1st day and took care of me every time! I tipped her very well!

I went on a 7 day this June. I rate it a 7 out of 10. We were there for 11am and was scheduled for 1pm, yet got in our room at 2:15. Why was there only two guards checking birth certificates and IDs. It took me one and forty-five minutes while my sister, who had a passport, was done in 15 min.The food and the entertainment need some work. I end up paying for steak. The main dinning room was empty after day three. Yes, Shack was great!
😂😂😂 I'm dying at the midnight buffet. It was all over the place lol. My husband and I ate at a few restaurants, not really impressed. I think the dining room breakfast, buffet breakfast lunch and dinner were better than the restaurants. And that carbonara was absolutely disgusting in the dining room 😢

I went last Dec and we didn’t see the dogs and embarkation was just ok. We had to sit also. The service was slow onboard but to me because it was the week of Christmas and crowded cruise I expected it

Just got off a8 day celebration on 7/21 wasn’t a fan. Pool shut down every other day from kids puking in pool. Cruisers hygiene was poor, covid went around the ship. At least 5 ppl on my floor caught it including me. Leon was great and the biggest highlight of the trip. Food in the main dining was tragic, did enjoy the speciality places. All the quick eats stayed packed. Hope my next carnival cruise is miles better

It’s super weird
I just sailed on the Celebration July 13th-21st, 8 Day ABC Island. The itinerary was great, we absolutely loved the ABC Islands, Curacao is probably my favorite island in the Caribbean! Embarkation was ok, dogs and all but it went by pretty fast and smooth! We had a 10:30 check in time and we were on the ship by 11:30! Debarkation was a hot mess, took forever to get off the ship, once in customs the process went fast! Our state room was room 16243 and we had a rough, windy sailing, one night we had 70 mile an hour winds, we hit a wave so hard, thought we bounced off a reef!!! It was scary that night!!! Not a fan of deck 16 balcony rooms! The food on the ship was subpar at best, we did a good job of mixing up are specialty dinning and main dinning! But Shaq's was great, Guy's was good, service on the ship was good overall, Camp Ocean workers had attitudes like nobody's business! But overall, Celebration was ok, it is currently my favorite ship, but I sail on Harmony of the seas in September and I think that may change!
We will be on Mardi Gras in September and plan to try Shaq's but our go to restaurant is Guys Burgers so we will do that first. We will also do the Steakhouse one night.

Carnival probably overlapped because it be so crowded at these events which would make sense. I wish they would do that for the limelight lounge. The more events, the more people have a choice to go to and it wouldn’t be over crowded.
Watching the show. I just wish Carnival would serve some type of breakfast turkey meats. My first cruise was last year and I’m like I don’t have any breakfast meats😂🤦🏾♀️
They do life vest that will inflate when you hit the water. Those are real light paper, thin.

@@LifeWithUsTV if you go to a Bass Pro shop you can see some of the fishing vest there. They have ones that inflate automatically when it hits the water which are lighter overall.

I was on this sailing with y'all. We were pulled into the room after the dogs sniffed our bags. Didn't find ANYTHING and am still wondering what happened. We boarded at 2:06 pm but, it had to be the smoothest embarkation. The downside, we had to carry our luggage. We boarded, hit the muster station and to the room, since it was ready. Check your documents, methods of payment, itinerary, INSURANCE!!!

@@iverymaven7298 Yes, our bags alerted the K9. I'm from a state that it's legal. However, I don't do it, but was in a car that does, so the aroma was on our luggage. You are taken into a small room after you and your bags are x-rayed. They will search EVERY article of your luggage. Checking candy bags too, making sure there are no edibles. Once he saw I was a FED, I was released immediately. I had a damn good cruise and I hope the same for you. Now, there was the smell of it on the ship, but not sure how they managed to get it on board.
I went on the Celebration about 2 years ago. Nothing like the Mardi Gras. The atmosphere was dead. I was not feeling it. The only specialty restaurant I usually visit is the steak house.

I had 1000 checkin on the Breeze in (Galveston) & Horizon (Miami) I was also FTTF still boarded both times between 1130-1200🤷🏽♀️ Galveston disembarkation was better.

The holding tank is odd 😮 My April sailing we had a 10:30 check in & FTTF… they let us right through! Same with my sailing last September, maybe it’s a port of Miami thing… My last 2 were out of Charleston & Norfolk.
We really don’t do the dining because they are a little slow and the food is never hot because they serving everyone around the same time so it’s better to skip it all together. Thanks for the tip on the elevators. Stanley the woman is always right……lol
