- I've been waiting to play Coral Island for YEARS, it feels like! Like a 3D, tropical Stardew Valley, Coral Island is a cozy farming sim game with an adorable town and a huge cast of amazing characters! The world already feels so vibrant and full of life so I have to wonder, will this replace Stardew Valley for me???

this is so cute i definitely want to check this out and lose hours of my life to it like stardew valley lol! i feel like the stardew comparisons are fair for you to make, it feels like a major source of inspiration! there’s soooo much cool original game design in here so the elements that compare to stardew don’t detract from the game at all!
Oh Emily, you're absolutely going to lose hours of your life to it I started playing some more a couple nights ago, it was about 8 pm or so. I blinked and it was 11:30 What is this brujería???? And I totally agree, gameplay aspects are quite similar in some ways to SDV but the original parts they've made and the Indonesian influence makes me looove this game.

Okay, me too, and I am in love with the art style. I wasn't sure how I'd feel with the combo of 3D models and 2D portraits but IT'S SO CUTE The diversity is everything. I feel like I could fit into this world! And omg the cats, you're so right. THE PEANUT WHISKERSSSSSS

Sorry, Hiram! The video was taking a reeaally long time to process in HD and rather than make everyone wait any longer for the video, I went ahead and posted it. For what it's worth, this will probably never happen again! I always upload my videos days in advance so this doesn't happen and also to allow channel members and Patreon members to watch early.

This game is so fun! I’m really enjoying it. If you don’t already know, when you look at the map, it will tell you where the people are that you haven’t met yet. A question mark will be where they are.
I did figure that out after a while haha. My gosh, there are SO MANY people to meet! I absolutely love how lively this world it!!!

This game looks awsome I am buying today
When I first saw screenshots of this game, I didn't think much, but after watching this, I want this game. This is one of the most beautiful games of this type I have ever seen. I thought "Song of the Prairie" would be the ultimate winner for that, but this one definitely is up there. The details in the landscape and the art style is so amazing and so much better than I thought from what screenshots I saw. Also, my romance choice would actually have been Lily if I didn't watch your videos (I usually pick the kind of nerdy girl with glasses in games like this), but since she looks so much like you, I would feel all creepy about it now. lol. When I saw your thumbnail for this game, I literally thought you were able to design that character to look like yourself, and was really impressed by how accurate you got. I would probably go for Suki or Yuri, or maybe even Chaem (if it doesn't take too long to get past the rude part) from those you've met, depending on who is romancable.

It was a little buggy for me last time I checked. Like I had finished it but I wasn't able to redeem some of the prizes? Idk I haven't played in a couple of week. And now Coral Island has 100% of my attention
@@JubileeWhispers Yeah I had the same problems but I contacted them I link to the cloud and check the mail box in front of the house and I was able to get all my prizes. The new season and update happens on oct 13th so lets see how that goes.

You can always think of it this way, the longer you wait to get the game, the more the developers will have done to get it closer to the final release. i just realized this game was from indonesian developer, that's why few character name is sounda like Indonesian name,otherwise it's a good game to be used as asmr,and i really enjoyed it
It is!! There's quite a few bits of Indonesian influence and culture too. I just did the first festival and there was tumpeng and mention of lodeh :) There's Javanese style furniture to buy too!

I wanted to play this after watching this video. I’m disappointed at the single platform option so far (I know it’s early access). I suppose I’ll have to wait until the full release to play it on a platform I have.

I'll be totally honest, I have very mixed feelings about Ooblets. While the game itself looks suuuper cute and right up my alley, the developers of the game have done some stuff I don't agree with. Mainly, they have been really rude to their fanbase and dismissive of them. I don't like the thought of supporting people like that personally but I also don't want to encourage my viewers to support people like that. I'm really sorry :(

No, it's not really playable on the Deck at the moment. You COULD play it but it would be such a hassle it wouldn't be much fun imo. There's no controller support right now so you have to use a community theme and even then, it didn't really work for me.
