Make sure you get entered to win the Fireblade at
‘02 954RR owner here, the new Fireblades coming out of the factory are beyond unbelievable but the R SP is when you actually want to catch up to that bolt of lightning that knocked your power out in a storm, great reviews guys, love em, keep it comin!
These bikes kinda display the 80/20 rule. For 80% success you only need 20% effort, but the last 20% will cost you four times the previous work.
I own that exact 2017 CBR 1000RR. I have a number of things done to it including an Akrapovic titanium exhaust. I'm blown away by how violently it pulls through gears every time I ride it. It's an absolute weapon. And still comfortable to cruise in a relaxed fashion.
The thing with litre bikes, even though they are completely impractical, is the way they make you feel when you are aboard. You have top level equipment, with everything being the best of the best. They are just a special place to be. Also knowing that you can blow just about any other vehicle that ever existed into the weeds if the whim takes you is kinda nice too.
As someone who has the base model. No. The extra R isn’t worth it. It’s way less comfortable, way more aggressive and unless you a world level racer, which you’re not… you won’t even be able to max out the base model let alone the R SP
Are we surprised that the twice as expensive race bike with a 100 lb lighter rider is faster? I'd like to have seen Spite on the Fireblade and Yammie on the RR and see how close that is.
As an r6 rider you are right we do have problems but we don’t need a therapist. We have an r6 :)
Next video will be your 1000th video.
lol the next ari and zack
u guys should do side by side (split screen) ergo checks when you compare them. then we could see the difference right next to each other
Hondas suck, Hondas are boring. Is all i ever hear on youtube.
Finally some supersport content. I about died grinning when you guys said nobody wants to hang the bike out there in the high revs unless you ride an R6. 🤙
hey yammie ik this has nothing to do with this but i just got my first motorcycle and am absolutely stoked. all your videos ive watched and tips youve given have been so helpful thank you!!!
For me the CBR 1000RR. I don't need all that on the edge racy stuff, the some what more roadable nature of the CBR just makes it more my fit because that's where I'll be spending most of my time with it.
They aren't my kind of bikes but I still enjoyed the video. Once a person hits a certain age comfort becomes a lot more important.
Fantastic comparison - both of you were brilliant. Really enjoyed this.
Been watching YN vids since 4am cuz i can't sleep. I'm picking up my first brand new bike today and I'm so excited.
Heads up from South Africa - Else than the Local Bike Show channel - I really appreciate your content!
Don’t have spite ride it. He is to timid to squeeze it! The H2 vid was hilarious! He barely rolled into it! Great job on vids but he is a cruiser dude!
