After 5 years I purchased this in January 2019 Update May 2024 - I have had to take it to Gucci in Selfridges who passed it onto Bond Street who were not able to repair the wear and tear on the corners front and back - have tried to escalate this and will update but that’s not great :(
I recently picked up the horsebit 1955 mini bag and will be reviewing this soon, hopefully I won’t have the same problem in a few years!

It’s a really beautiful bag! My mum helped me pick it, she has a very classy eye 👁 she said it was like the old Gucci which she loved, it’s very useful, loving crossbody bags, ‘invest’ you never go wrong 😉
@@Amrasbeautyblog Almost all the bags in my designer bags video are crossbody haha. I absolutely love them, as they are practical and keep your hands free. Yes your mum has very good taste :)

This was sitting in my cart on Net a Porter more than a year ago and I couldn’t decide between this one and the navy suede with red detailing... when I went back it was sold out. I’m waiting to travel through LHR to purchase it as hopefully it will be less than £885. It’s uncanny today I saw a lady with one and from a distance it wasn’t brown 🤔 it looked navy or grey. Any idea if it’s available in other colours please? It’s still 885 on NAP... x
It’s a really nice bag I really like this colour design at it’s the original, great idea to get it at Heathrow, it’s the only place you’ll get a nice discount, I don’t know if it’s available in other colours sadly, but I’m sure I’ve seen it in other colours!

Can I ask if you’d suggest buying via the Gucci website for special packaging, etc versus a place like Nordstrom’s?
I would probably say that Gucci would provide a really good special packaging service, I’ve always bought from them instore and at the airport, not sure about Nordstrom as I’m not US based!

Hello thank you very much 🥰I rotate my bags quite regularly and I have quite a few so I haven’t worn it enough to see any wear and tear, I also keep my bags safely in a drawstring bag in a cupboard to preserve it! :) It’s a really useful crossbody for me if that helps! 😊

I heard a lot of saying about that too. So I haven’t decided to get it or not. Now the price went up 😩😩
I confirm this is true. After 3 months of regular using, all the bottom corners are already worn out. And yes, it might hold a lot of stuff, but as a traveler I don’t find this bag is travel friendly. It’s really heavy tho… but still a good beautiful bag
