Sometimes I call it my concrete pump. It has a grate on the bottom of the intake so stones larger than 3/8" aren't getting through. anything smaller gets pumped through the unit. I sharpen impellers about every 10 hrs, and swap them out at 30-50 hrs...
It’s a valid question that I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about. The two options (IMO) are roll cage and full harness, or no seatbelts / cage. I chose no cage / belts and have no regrets.
We only made it right above sunburn alley. This fall / winter we will run all the way to Amacher. Then we will run the upper section into glide. I’m stoked!!
Mini jets are fun, even better when the waters clear and the weather fine.
