this one was a fun one to watch! inspiring
😮❣
Venus?! is that really you? Hiiii! 😃👋
Wow
Rybakina is simply the best nowadays. Perfect and smooth
Simply the best?? What about Swiatek ? 😂
Yea no
Simply best means effortless
Rybakina is a great player
@@rafiulhassan7089 Swiatek's game looks effortless too.
Elena ❤
Rybakina looks fitter than ever. Congrats, Elena!💯
Рыбакина просто красавица👏👏👏🇰🇿🇰🇿🇰🇿
I like the three exclamation points after Ostrava!!!
big hitter elena and fast on her feet love her!
Nice!
Наша Леночка молодец! 👍
Лена - молодец!
Лена Супер!!!
Good to see Keys and good to see Rybakina.
Молодчина наша рыбка. Идем дальше
I think Madison Keys needs a new coach. She has all the tools to win. She just doesn't win enough deep into tournaments. A different coach might help her focus. She seems to lose focus (or something) during her big matches beyond the first round or two. Madison is very likable and very talented. She's definitely got the on court game to win consistently. She just needs someone to help her find what's she's currently missing. It would do women's tennis well to see her deep into more tournaments and to win a few. Good luck Madison. You deserve to win and you will.
No disrespect to the coach but yes I wish I could have coached her for this match. You gotta do more than hit hard and deep to beat the better players.
I’m a fan of Maddie but I don’t think it’s coach related. She’s been through so many coaches over her career. She performs usually well in slams/big tournaments but a lot of her problems are due to effort. She just gives up in a lot of matches and ball bashes. It’s like she decides today isn’t her day and just whacks the ball regardless of the score line. She has a great game so all her problems are mental. It’s a shame.
I agree that she may need a new coach and having all the tools, but as for being likable, that's why the world is a huge mess no thanks to pop culture stupidity.
You're right, her skill level isn't the problem.
@@Dancingontgesun1942 I agree with you, her new coach has actually helped her so much this year and she is playing so much better. I watched the full match and she looked exhausted and frustrated from the beginning for some reason. This was a crazy match they both played amazing!🙏🏽🔥❤️🎾
Keys got absolutely destroyed mentally in the 3rd set
And in the second set too.
Keys issue has always been mental.
Rybakina’s losses are definitely related to a lack of mental toughness. She has all the tools to be in the top 3, even number one if she would be consistently mentally tough.
Keys hits form about 3 times a season, she can beat anyone when she does but she has large parts of the season that she just doesn't play the same way
She is a star now
These highlights show mostly of Keys points. Even if points gained from unforced errors, they have to show it at least to have a balanced highlights for both players.
Rybakina is my dream girl. Well played from both ladies.
Y’all are too hard on Madison. She lost against a high quality, grand slam winner. It’s not like she lost to Someone with no ability. Both are hard hitters, big servers. Rybakina was the better player here
Keys game plan is the same as it always has been. Bash the ball.
@@user-qf8ij7dn4h well it works because she hits harder than most male players as well lol
When Emma Raducanu answered the reporter's question about pressure to win slams, Emma Raducanu famously remarked, "what about the players that haven't won a slam yet?" That's is so true! It's not just diverting the pressure, but it's remarkably true on many players that seem to have the ability to win a slam but just cannot get over that hurdle. Madison Keys, Belinda Bencic, Caroline Garcia, Alize Cornet, etc. After seeing many of Keys' matches, her Achilles' heel is unforced errors; especially, untimely unforced errors. When Madison Keys is more consistent, however, Keys seem to lose some of her aggression or assertive shots. Keys' problem is to balance her unforced errors and her aggressive game. What Keys might benefit from is to work on her technique. Keys has the ability to hit with power, but she hasn't successfully been able to string 7 match victories with power, control, and consistency. The coach can tell her that and I'm sure Keys is well aware, but nothing is going to happen until Keys works on her technique or perhaps it's stamina? If it's stamina, then Keys needs to taper her energy to make sure she has enough gas left in the tank to finish the match. Keys tends to start strong against her fellow big hitters but fizzles out in the end.
This was disappointing. 2-2 in the third set, Keys up 40-0 and had an easy volley that she missed. She kept fighting but her play went down a bit while Rybakina’s went up; when she’s on her flat groundstrokes are tough to match.
That was a tokay what got me too I watched the whole match. It was totally hers from then but the deuce came around from fighting back from down a break. But they both played great
Madison is so hard to root for. She gets hot and cold rather quickly and unexpectedly. She was beating almost everyone not too long ago, including the world #1. Elena is one among the handful of players who can match Keys' power. Her level in the 3rd set was extraordinary and Madison couldn't keep up with it.
Elena still has it going!
Bravo Ribakina, dobar posao
Very nice court and arena. I'd never seen it before.
Maybe a bit of a "slow" court?...not that there is anything wrong with that.
I was rooting for both ladies. Madi had chances, but ER is tough, pretty even match. Compliments to both ladies.
Rybakina askm harikasın
Great Elena Rybakina! 🎾🔥❤
Estoy en la rybakineta papa!!!
Brutal first round for Madison both actually. The surface looks kind of funny to me. It is a regular hard court?
I like this new way of writing ‘bagel’!
Елена,просто класс, профессионал
I didn't expect Keys to be this bad. After winning the 1st set she stopped playing. And that's what Rybakina was waiting for. In the 1st set it seemed that Keys will easily win this match, but in the end she choked and lost to an opponent which she should defeat easily. Madison Keys should learn from her mistakes. I hope that in the next tournament she'll start taking her opponents more seriously. Rybakina meanwhile was great. She excellently used her chances and Key's incossistent and weak play. She wasn't afraid to capitalize on Key's incossistencies. Elena Rybakina deserves this win. She simply was better than Keys. Keys played bad since the middle of the second set.
You can’t even play tennis, but you’re judging her like you know her. What a funny comment
her easy to beat opponent is the current Wimbledon champion..more context and less emotion please
It's a conspiracy, the umpires were against her, as is the media. Only cheating led to her defeat.
I doubt you'll even recognize the sarcasm, but it's entertaining to play your usual gibberish back to you.
@@serveoutwide I am simply stating facts. Elena Rybakina was better than Keys. Keys was incossistent and that's it. I watched that match actually.
@@einarsd4 Elena won Wimbledon this year and has been FLOPPING ever since. She should’ve won in straight sets, but could only handle an out of form Keys in three
Keys has been on tour for yrs n haven't gotten anywhere n never will she will go down as n regular player who never won a slam .she should hav had a diff coach yrs ago
Can they make the court's any slower ? It's like a battle of who wears down the first; more than skills as it's so tough to hit winners!
Елена умничка 💔
Madison is in need of that quad city tap water
Lazy?
@@Mean.Devil77787 theres just something about that water that flows through davenport, rock city, moline and west moline.
Madison never had the head and never will unfortunately.
Keys has always shown promise but has never delivered. She has had numerous coaches throughtout her career but evidently this hasn't help her reach the top. I think she lacks the mental toughness needed to get to the very top . Not sure where she can go from here. I don't see her winning a Grand Slam, she may have missed her chance.
Give Rybakina the Wimbledon points you WTA punks.
I agree!
Congrats Elena..your my favorite Tennis 🎾 player
I would say for all of the talent Madison has - she is one of the least intelligent tennis players in the top,30. At this point in her career - independent of her constantly getting nervous and choking in the biggest matches - no coach can get her a slam. There are both physical aspects and strategies that many 20 year old players have already learned that no coach has been able to help her with.
Tough draw for first round
Poor highlights, mostly focusing on winning points from Keys, not Rybakina, as usual.
Go may Elena of Troy
I wonder what game plan Keys had for this match, hit deep? She let Rybinkina control the last two sets. She should have got more angle shots.
I agree. She needs to hit more angle shots. She can't win by just hitting hard at the players.
You don't beat Rybakina by trying to outhit her.
@@Irfan87 Iga can hit but I wouldn't put her in the powerhouse category my friend. Shes not hitting crazy like Konjuh, or Venus or Serena (prime). Iga is a deadly counter puncher with some pop on the ball but there are much bigger hitters on tour like Sabalenka and Kenepi as well.
So happy for Rybakina
I hope she'll be able to get trophy for the remaining season to boost her rank after wta cheat her 🇰🇿
Where t f is everybody? Stadium’s empty. How do they make money out of these tournaments?
Madison is too inconsistent. On any given day, she could beat anyone and win a big title like Cincinnati, but she could also lose in the first round. She definitely has the game and the power, so I think a lot of it is mental and being able to navigate and figure things out throughout a match. A new coach could definitely help her with this part of her game.
Same old Keys...Damn. Ridiculous
I never understand why players struggle against Keys. She always get lucky wins. But this time against the Russian, she wasn’t that lucky
You mean the Kazakh. Rybakina represents Kazakhstan
Luck doesn't get you top twenty for six years, but thanks for the amusing attempt at analysis.
It’s the other way round mostly. Keys is very talented and can out hit many. Players often get fortunate for beating her as she beats herself. Although exceptions are Barty, Swiatek.
@@zweigackroyd7301 right🇺🇸
Maddy lost in first round in Tallinn and Ostrava. Unsuccessful trip to Europe (to put it mildly). 😂
Fishakina looked like she's gonna cry for some reason. 😐
3rd meeting Keys and Rybakina 's in this year
Key needs to practice on long and short angle shots.......She can't win matches with pure power shots.......................She needs to become a 3 dimensional player....
I agree w the many, Keys needs a whole new staff. It's all it possibly be.
To think naomi and maddy were the same brain ball bashing then naomi changed her tactic and maddy still brainless bashing the ball and still a slow mover
No one watching
Madison, Madison,… why are you like a box of chocolates. That is, when you play, we never know what we will get!!! You have as much ability as anyone, but for whatever reason, you are probably the most unpredictable player on the tour. First round loses no matter who you play shouldn’t be acceptable.
Rybakina would have a much better life if she learned to smile once in a while. She’s the Basilashvili of the WTA.
@Aldo Raine smilling more makes people like you more
She would have worse life pretending to smile for people like u who thinks their opinions and judgements for others are right.
She beats up her bf?
Toolbag
@@MonicaHolly143 pretending to smile? There are lots of reasons for her to smile. She won a slam. She is a millioner. Had loving parents etc. Nothing wrong with giving people advice on how to be charismatic and more welcoming to people
Rybakina can't smile to safe her life. Truly depressing aura surrounding her.
Not depressing. She love to not smile.
And Keys can't play tennis to save her life
I just think that's her character, she's all business on court and barely any emotion
@@Raj...01234 well you just summed up the whole point of her being depressed
@TvRF I'd say she's deadly calm.
