- Welcome to a week in the life of a medical student. This is officially week 4 of block 2 of medical school for us 🥳
If you don't already know me, my name is Ethan, and I am a first-year med student here at UCLA. In addition to being a full-time med student, I'm passionate about community-building, public health, and writing. Also, as part of my quest to live simply and minimally, I live out of a self-converted campervan!
I have three goals with these weekly videos:
1. To inspire future generations of young people
2. To reflect deeply on my new life as a medical student and grow into a more compassionate, disciplined, and intentional individual
3. To capture my experience and share it with family and loved ones back home

Thank you for sharing your authentic and genuine experiences! Although I've worked as a phlebotomist in the ER before, it sounds stressful to feel like you're in a position where you need to take charge without having much experience. Hope next week is a bit of a lighter load! :)
Of course! And thank you so much for watching. Agreed- whenever you put yourself in new situations, you will feel overwhelmed and like you don't know enough. But it's in those very same moments when you experience the most growth :)

bless ya so much hard work to become an dr I'm sure in end your get there i hope one day to help teach medical students as one of there body donors as I'm thermally ill young man so decided to give consent to body donation in hope to help teach medical students Anatomy i wish all well in there studies and pray you carry on to become great dr take care
