I had a pair of the Logitechs, and I noticed that there was a significant drop in mic quality when going from usb c to 3.5mm. Is this the case for the HyperX’s and JBL’s as well?
Hmm I’m not really sure. I use mine just with a 3.5mm splitter. I would check the ports you’re using, IE plugging into your case vs direct to the MOBO
@@BaxTechYT I used them on my ps5, and when connected directly into the ps5 through usb c, the mic sounded way crisper than when I connected them into my controller through the 3.5mm jack, which was disappointing considering it’s way more convenient to plug into my controller.
@@BreezoSuave its because they didnt do much with it and installed their own mic and sound into the ps5 pad so the quality would go down or it might just be a faulty jack.
they will drop in quality yes because the dongle helps with giving them full performance and sound. the 3.5mm is there just in case, but it won’t give full access to all quality. I use them for my gaming laptop and downloaded nvidia broadcast to enable noise suppression for them so now it sounds like a good mic with no background noise and good sound. I just ALWAYS use the usb c dongle with it. (plus earbuds like these are extremely good quality for the price. tangle-less, clear microphone for game chat (just download a noise suppression add on for extra quality) good choice of colors, better than clunky headphones to carry around, small bag to carry them in or just in your pocket or bag. makes for amazing headphones alternative)
The JBL ones are just 3.5mm so what you hear here is what you'll be getting by plugging into your PS5 controller. There's no difference to what he's doing here, unless something is faulty in whichever device.

TB sounds louder that doesn't mean it's tge best! Dunno what mic you use on the 1st 10 seconds of the video but the 3 sounds kinda similar to it except for the TB!

How do you use the Logitech g333 mic on pc it’s not popping up on anything?
You’ll need to either use them with the included USB C adapter, a sound card, or a splitter cable. Depending on which you use, you’ll need to set that as your source in your sound settings

I’m not really sure. I know they make a version of the G333’s for VR headsets, not sure how the mic works with VR though

My view only, the earbuds with long boom mic sounds is better. I wear Awei 180i wired gaming earbuds with long boom mic about USD $6 during transportation. The mic quality is good enough to support a short Whatsapp phone call and not disturb other passengers.
