🌸 The antioxidants in rose water can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
🌹 It has been traditionally used to soothe sore throats due to its anti-inflammatory properties.
🌸 When ingested, rose water can improve digestion, reduce bloating, and act as a mild laxative.
🌹 The aroma of rose water is known to have mood-enhancing properties, helping to reduce anxiety and promote emotional well-being.
🌸 Rose water has antiseptic and antibacterial properties, which can help in the healing of cuts, burns, and scars.
🌹It can condition and moisturize the hair, reduce dandruff, and promote healthy scalp conditions.
🌸 Rose water can be used to soothe tired and irritated eyes, reduce puffiness, and treat mild eye infections.

Thank you for showing us how to do that! I made rose-infused oil last year, using wild rose petals. It was lovely, but I didn't have access to many roses, so it wasn't a strong scent. But it was nice to use through the winter while the air was so dry. I just received a new rose plant today that I plan to plant out tomorrow! I'm sure it will provide me with plenty of rose petals and hips for all our medicinal and tea and cosmetic needs! Very exciting!❤🌹

Guys, thank you so much, for making my life simple. I make bath and body things and rose oil and rose "hydro" is so costly it's crazy! I have a yard full of roses in every color and type. I love them. I knew it could be done but, i never knew how easy it would be to make oil and water from my roses. Literally, this is going to save me over a grand this year alone!!!! Rose hip oil is 7.95 a 1/2 ounce in the USA and rose water is 14.95 a half ounce. I buy a gallon of each a year!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, a whole stinking bunch of money!!!! Now Ive got an excuse to buy more roses.

Question: If I just put fresh rose petals in distilled/filtered water and let them sit in it, isn't that rose water too or not at all? I have done this and it does taste delicious. I guess my question is, are there still benefits doing it the way I have had it?

That's more along the lines of a flower essence. Flower essences capture the vibrational energy of the flower by infusing it into water with the power of the sun.

Very nice, indeed. How long does it last in glass and would it need to be refrigerated, please? I learned a lesson when I was 3, 1958, and decided very excitedly, to make perfume with rose petals and water and it was more like compost the next day!

@@Sholton7558Yes any rose that hasn’t had toxic sprays on it. I think the more fragrant the rose, the better imho. I want to know how long to keep & store it also because I have some David Austin roses blooming right now & want to make some up.
