I visited there last year when the pandemic was a thing. There was a big Eddie figure at the entrance, and Metallica posters were on the front glass. Calm and cozy place.

Stellar shop, we're lucky to have it--I was so bummed when the place on Lower Queen Anne shut down. Ever notice how good the sound is in Easy Street? The speakers are From Blumenstein Audio in Tacoma--really great loudspeakers.
Always dig seeing this place Maslov. I still cringe when I think about the crate of LPs I sold years ago. Every OG of Green River, Mother Love Bone and Pearl Jam worth all of the gold in Egypt now.
I must have spent thousands over the years here. I remember when downstairs was all CDs and records upstairs. Now CDs are just in one small corner. I also liked the other Easy Street in Seattle that closed a few years go. If it wasn't for the vinyl boom, this store would probably have closed as well.
Anyone else getting the impression that this Serge Gainsbourg track perhaps inspired Nigel Godrich when he was producing Beck's Paper Tiger off of Sea Change?
I didn't understand a bloomin word of that but you don't need foreign words and music to enjoy a tour and general thumbing through the racks of records 👍👍👍
Neat place, but it’s so….damn….crowded and restrictive there. Too much side to side shimmying required in order to get around the isles in there. But I do confess that I admire the quaintness and coziness of it. In many ways (but not ALL ways, mind you), it’s how a good old fashioned record store should be 🤘🏼
Glad you don't speak French all the time but it sure seemed fitting to esprit de corpse of this expedition. west Seattle been hiding out for a while now like, do they even still accept US currency over there?

Yeah the vinyl boom for sure. But the cafe is also an excellent way to keep solid cash flow during vinyl breaks.
