- It's moving day...the day we leave Brisbane for greener pastures (literally!) ....in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. We say goodbye to our house in Brisbane and make the 1½ hour journey to our new home.....
We wake up the mext morning to the sound of birds and look out our kitchen window and see the rolling hills and we couldn't be happier 🤗
We invite you to come with us as we make regular trips and share our experiences with you 😊

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Australia and sharing everything our beautiful country has to offer!
Our videos are posted weekly 😊 (we aim for Thursdays).

I lived in Caloundra for 20 years then Beerwah now im moving to Hervey Bay. Queensland , especially the Sunshine Coast has so much to offer. 30 minutes from coast to hinterland. Love Maleny and the eateries. So much to see and do.
Hi Stephany, it was our 1-year anniversary of living in the hinterland last week! The Sunshine Coast has a much larger population and a lot more development than when we first lived here 19 years ago and that took a bit of getting used to. But it also made us very appreciative that we chose to live in the hinterland this time. It feels like time has stood still where we live and we are surrounded by nature ❤️ So, in hindsight, we can say it was a good decision and we’re very happy that we moved here 🤗

You can upload an hour long video of just the camera on a tripod on your property to capture the nature sounds. 😍 I’d play that in the background here at home in Canada. I’m trying to find more information about native fauna and flora and it’s a dream of mine to live in sunny coast hinterland so I’d love to see more of that!!! 😍 love how eco friendly your life style is. I’d love to request two other videos if I may: 1) more eco friendly Australian lifestyle video such as more in-depth detail about maybe the recycling or compost, solar, the car etc. that would be a great searchable video for your channel! 2) you had mentioned neighbors coming over, in different cultures around the world meeting neighbours and customs with that are different maybe talk about how aussies make new friends/neighbours?

Hi @SO , Do It Yourself 🤗 Thanks so much for your kind comments 😊 We are really excited about living a more sustainable lifestyle. Yesterday, we had scrambled eggs for breakfast (the eggs were from our next door neighbours) and oranges from our orange tree. We're starting a worm farm soon to help with our composting and we are churning up the veggie beds ready to plant our first seeds from scratch. Baby steps we know, but there's something really rewarding with spending time outdoors isn't there?!
That hinterland location looks stunning. Are you close to Maleny and Montville? What a dream!
