Black, poet, dyke-goddess, hip-hop feminist, womanist, friend, Porsha Olayiwola is a performance artist who believes in pixie dust and second chances. A resident of Boston, by way of Chicago, Porsha O is the reigning Individual World Poetry Slam Champion. Her intention is to speak, love, praise, and maintain a cypher that is undocumented, uncontrollable and just plain ole dope. Porsha Olayiwola is the 2014 Individual World Poetry Champion.
I'm so addicted to her passion, to her spirit, to her style of writing, to her real, to her dopeness, to her raw attitude and black girl magic. She's amazing so so amazing

I just recited this for my poetry final! My favourite poem in the world. Made sure to give Porsha all of the credit she deserves and encouraged everyone to watch her performance.
As an old school poet from back in the day, it does my heart good to see the warrior art moving forward to a new generation. Her phire reminds me of my phire, of the phire of Nikki, Baldwin, Amiri, Sonia, to name a few! this particular piece on capitalism is on poinT! I'll be checking her out some more!
