Joe reviews an old, reliable piece of EDC gear: the Maxpedition Micro Pocket Organizer. If you have a need for better organization in a bag, purse, or cargo pocket you can’t go wrong with this item. Sadly, the price point for this particular pouch has escalated over the years since this video was posted. Sorry for any false hope these old price points have generated.

I've been carrying the Maxpedition Micro Pouch on me everyday for over 3 years now. I absolutely love it. It's held up well. Most of the year it rides in my jacket pocket. I can put it in a rear pocket of my jeans. But, as you mentioned there will be a visual bulge. But, personally since it's in my back pocket, I don't really care. No one looks at my a$$ anyways. Hi, hi. 🙂
My EDC pouch:
Bic lighter
Ferro rod
AAA flashlight
Spare AAA battery
Mini USB battery
Cellphone wall charger
Cigarette USB adapter
6' USB-C cable
Band-Aids
2x sealed travel size packs of Tylenol
Thanks for sharing your EDC, that’s a practical kit you’ve assembled 😎👍
Great review Joe! I especially appreciated you mentioning the measures, so helpful
Thanks, glad you found it useful
Thank you for showing Joe! I like pouches! There are several sizes and funktions.
I’m glad you enjoyed it
I have 2 and like them so far. Great video.
Thanks! Glad you like yours too 😏
Very good review! Been looking into getting the green version. Thank you 😊
You’re welcome! I don’t think you can go wrong with green 👍
I love my Maxpedition Micro. It goes with me pretty much everywhere I go! Great video!
Thanks!
Maxpedition shipping costs are ridiculously high, even for today's standards! I ordered a 2 for 1 deal from them which almost ended up costing the same as if I bought it from Amazon with "free" prime shipping. I also ordered similar pouches from Vanquest the same day where shipping costs were half of Maxpedition's, and already they have it in the mail! Still waiting for any shipping update from Maxpedition!
I would also recommend an emergency blanket.....💪💪
Excellent review, especially regarding the specifics of the nylon and the dimensions. As an EDC fan I've been looking for something quality like this for awhile. It seems to me the only drawback is it doesn't have Molle on the back like the Mini model does. I want to wear the micro on my belt, though I've even thought of replacing my wallet with it. Thoughts for workarounds to attach it to a belt?
Sew on a belt loop? Gain a skill and a belt pouch in one move
Great review on a cool edc item
Thank you
Whoa.... I was just about to buy one. Didn't know they were teflon-coated. Thanks for the heads up. I'll skip this one!
the pen... links for the pen...? fully concur with your review. have several of these for parts, &c. they just won't die! love 'em. :D

Here’s the rollerball but there is also a Fountain Pen version, which is what I have. They look identical when capped
GreAt price! Almost £20 each here in the uk 🇬🇧
Not bad! I think it's still worth it
I'm interested in that mini pry bar. What brand was it?
I’m not sure because this was given to me by a friend but it is labeled as “Made in USA, U.S. GOVT.”
Will you use it exclusively for fountain pens and stuff?
I use it for various things. Mine isn’t a “permanent” setup. Sometimes power cables and travel items, sometimes a sharpening kit… depends on what I need
you should add a mini lighter, never know when you need to start a fire
That’s true, thanks!
I can say with certainty that I’ve never needed to randomly start a fire. I have, however, needed to start a fire while backpacking, which explains why you should carry a fire starter while backpacking, but not while shopping at Home Depot or sitting in your office.
@Back to the Outdoors clearly your fiancé has never broken up with you at her house
Wish you could attach it to a belt. Nice pouch! 👍
I suppose a carabiner could technically work, but it’s not the most elegant solution... thanks for watching 👍
If you get the mini it has molle webbing and can be belt carried with the right accessories
I want one, but they're $22 a piece as of August 15th 2022😱.
I'm guessing next year they're going to be $44 each ! 😂
Oof I guess supply chain stuff finally caught up with the price of these pouches… thanks for letting me know!
Have to watch for sales. I just bought one for $16 and change.
@@brawndothethirstmutilator9848 that's a fair price 👍.
...some band aids?
Good idea, especially as I like to carry knives 😆
Would a Google Pixel 2 fit in this?
The maximum pocket size is 8x12cm or 3-1/8 x 4-3/4 inches
