We never got a proper Sonic game for the Saturn, although my main reason for wanting a Saturn was Daytona USA. Maybe one day someone will take on the challenge and make one, but I’m highly doubtful of that 😭
the feeling of unknown / tampered menus was frequent in my dreams and this replicates that in a very emotional way. I'd love more of this even dreamier / glitchier. As minor of a gripe as it is, longer load screens would also sell the "read from disc" effect. the 10 seconds of darkness in the room while the disc drive clicks and hums. thank you for your work, i return to your tape mixes while coding almost every day.
*WALKS INCREDIBLY FAST THROUGH THE JUNGLE* There's just something about this game, maybe it's the small but VERY detailed "open-world" hub, maybe it's how it tried to be a mix of action, a breather mini-game(Twinkle Park) and a breather character (Big), it's just so neat.
I always dreamed of a universe where the fan game, Sonic Robo Blast 2 would be an official licensed SEGA video game released with the Sega Saturn in 1994. huge Multi-million dollar ad campaigns dissing Mario 64 and Crash bandicoot, stores flocked with people waiting hours before the Sega Saturn's release. Magazines, News stations, your local neighborhood, EVERYWHERE was news about the blue blur's hottest, newest game that might as well be the best game of the 90's. Sonic easily overthrew Mario and Crash and Sega sat on the throne of the video game industry. Sonic Robo blast's 25 million sales makes Mario 64's 11 million look pathetic. The Saturn would go on to be the standard console of the mid 90's, roaring through sales and knocking the new-comer Sony out of the park, and Sonic Robo Blast 2 would be considered as one of the most revolutionary, well aged games in the history of gaming.
I love this whole presentation. Would it have been possible to have an overworld indicator for the special gift at the top of the temple? Like a chao? Or the tikal hint ball to be placed there? Would have really sold that transition to Tikal. Really solid music choices btw
I really appreciate the whole vibe that the sega Saturn era of sonic gave off it truly felt very special and magical Also was the music sourced from the Saturn Version of Sonic 3d Blast ? If it was what what zone in the game did it come from it is very soothing and relaxing and it honestly fits the vibe of this video Just as well as the overall aesthetic that this video also happens to give off

It's like an alternate universe where the Sega Saturn won the console war and sonic was their biggest seller
I would love that world

I wish for a world like that
No more mediocrity
No more annoying complaints about games
Just pure divinity like Mario games usually get .
They would also say, Sonic was always good.
Alas, the fact that she did not have a ladder climbing animation proved to be her fatal downfall
This is peculiar. I remember having a dream where Tikal was playable during the flashback sequences.
do you think your mind was thinking of sa2 battle where she was playable in the multiplayer mode

imagine if this video is a test arg for something bigger...

This reminds me of a time that never was. I feel so melancholy.
Thank you for freeing me. But what do I do now? *owls hoot in the silence
You should do an explainer someday to show how you do this, it's truly amazing. Maybe a future sonic adventure rom hack?
i love these videos
This game has been modified.
Love the music choice. So chill
It's like if those "Sonic in Melee" rumors were true.
Seriously though, your videos are awesome keep up the good work!
Very interesting, please make more! I'm very intrigued at what story this will become
I love this, it's amazing
High quality work, totally feels like a dream you would make about the game after playing it
“and” AND WHAT?????????????

If you’re referring to the theme used for Lost World, it’s Rusty Ruins Act 1 + 2 from the Sega Saturn version!
@@LowPoly32 yeah that was what I was referring to and I also forgot that the Saturn version of 3d Blast has different music for the zone's
That is really awesome!!
Tikal wasn't playable in the final game. Dr. Eggman wasn't playable, too.
Oh,i love this style!
this channel is golden
We need SA2 to have mods like this next, with Terios replacing Shadow, almost like a continuation to this "What-If?"
I love Sonic so much

Cool vid. What's the track used for mystic ruins?
Astal - Glacial Rift
Is this possible to download and if so where to find it?
