The Korean one was boring, I didn’t cry at the end. It just looks fake. I know this movie is fake or whatever but I just feel like it’s boring and not fun. Personal opinion tho

Cos I read that the China media regulators doesn’t like these sort of travel to past drama.. so for this sequel to pass the regulations, they had to amend the story to that she’s obsessed with the Qing drama, rather than it’s her past life. 🤦♀️ very silly la ruin the whole show
This wasn't the original version of episode 2 ,because the Chinese government didn't like the storyline of this series. That was the reason why they removed some scenes and put worst scene instead. If you gonna watch uncut scene version that you can find Hong Kong version or Taiwan version.
The first season just broke my heart in a million pieces...I can't deal with it. Thank goodness they did a season 2 so I can heal myself. 😭😭😭

因為在當時廣電局限制電視劇不能有穿越的劇情，所以步步驚情才會變得不倫不類，我覺得原本的劇本應該是不錯的
