UGA fan here, i think Tech will definitely be alot better this season compared to the last 4 years. Ive got GT at 7-5 loses to Ole miss, wake forest, miami, clemson, and uga, i think they still have alot of work to do if they want to win against Clemson or Georgia. Itll be a good year for tech, Go Dawgs!!

@@richardlellip.e.m.b.a.7969 i was at the UGA vs GT game last year and i was so shocked and almost pissed going into half time 😂 Tech gave us a tough first half, but we ended up showing up!!! But i really want this to be a rivalry again like it was from 2008-2016

I like the prediction of 7-5, I agree with that. However, in classic Tech fashion, we will find a way to win 1-2 of the games you just picked us to lose, and and find a way to lose 1-2 of the games you picked us to win. Bc that’s just how it goes
Crazy watching this a year later. You were pretty high on tech but the end result wasn’t too far off from your prediction in terms of results. Biggest “wtf” factor was the loss to bowling green, but ultimately still landed at 6-6 regular season and a bowl win against UCF. It’ll be interesting to see what fall 2024 brings.

I’ve said it before on here, it feels like one of those years we can get Georgia. It seems very much like Key is instilling his identity into this team - tough, physical, fun, relentless. And, he hates Georgia. So it would not surprise me at all if we won this year. I have November 25th circled on my calendar, and I’m certain this team does as well.

I agree that first game is very important. It could make or break the entire season. It does worry me how high Vegas seems to be on Louisville. What do they know that we don't?
I’ve got 6-6 with basically the same wins as you, minus Miami. Louisville, WF is a toss up but we have to get one of those and handle business the rest of the season.

My take on the low expectations by the big name rating services is that they are ignoring the significant improvement in our quarterback situation. Pyron or King is a big step up from Sims. Gibbs is less athletic than Sims, but he has more field sense.
Worse case 6-6, expectation7-5,
Best case 9-3.
Biggest unknown is how much is offense going to improve. If our QBs are dialed into our receivers, then the running game will be there and our defense will be off the field. I’m not considering our special teams to be an issue.
Pretty solid take. I’m basically in agreement except for two points:
1. I would flip the win from ThugU to Weak Florist. I think they take a step back this year. And I do think Miami will be decent though probably not as good as many think.
2. I never bank on a win in Charlottesville. We have seen so many good opportunities crash and burn up there. I think we have won twice there since 1990. So I think that’s a loss.
But aside from that, I agree we get bowl eligible at 6-6 and I consider that a successful season compared to where we have been under the clown.
I believe we will beat Wake
Jamari Thrash is a beast of a WR, the corners will have to bring their A game against him in game one. I still can’t believe how bad Coach Elliot was last year for GSU
I think 7-5 is a sound prediction. UL, Miami and UNC all are coin flips. 8-4 is a possibility of you snag 2 wins out of those 3 games. I'd take the over on GT any day of the week. I think they'll be way more disciplined than they have been in a long time. As long as special teams is at least average this year, 8 wins is totally doable. Go Jackets! ✌️
