I spoke with an owner operator who hauls for sherwin williams and he also said he loves it they pay rate per mile is really good and they always have as much work for him as he wants. But that pension alone is important honestly for retirement in my opinion. At this point id rather just be happy with a company then make a shit ton of money and be miserable and hate my job. But they have layover runs thats pay more money so he said if im not trying too be home everyday i can make way more then he did but hes not trying too work that hard lol.. they have great benefits, 401k , company paid pension, 3 wks vacation as soon as you step foot in the door, they pay drop and hook pay, detention pay, load weight pay i guess the heavier the load the more money you make hr pay too get unloaded, pay you too fill up basically pay you for everything like a union without a union. Also you get too choose your runs he said either long or short so its up too you how much you wanna make. Can be home daily or every other day or just home on the weekends your choice. Weekends off but i think you can work the weekends if you want not sure but his money was from just working 5 days solo home daily.
I was like damn sherwin williams be paying like that and with pension not many companies pay pension anymore so too be you cant beat that. They dont have any openings yet right now. So i might go team with xpo logistics for a minute until a position opens up could be a while maybe not..
My wife doesn't wanna drive anymore she has like 20yrs of management experience as well so she might go back into managing and be home daily and i might go solo home daily or every other day i wanna go to the gym and take care my health and get into shape.
We been teaming for 5yrs so its time too get home more often an have our weekends back again so we can actually do stuff together again and have fun enjoy life.
I also day trade crypto and forex so hopefully in a few more years i get good enough that i make enough off trading too retire us both and just invest in property after that and rinse and repeat is the plan.
@@cryptonator1988 ohh man they got it made like that over there !? I heard good things but not that good lol
But that’s wassup I did a little options hopefully I get real good with it too
@TheMoeeShow yeah i believe it too because private fleet they dont operate like a trucking company. He used too work for ups and Walmart and he loves sherwin williams better hes worked their for 3yrs that speaks volumes honestly. Yeah well maybe they weren't paying this much 2-3 plus years ago he made 106k last year 2022 so im sure hes on par too make the same if not more assuming he got a raise sometime this year im guessing could be an extra couple thousand $ extra.
I want too love my job again and be happy if i clear 1200-1400$ net a week as a solo and am happy thats straight with me at this point but if i make more and i love it then even better-!!!!.
What kind of drug testing do they do ?
