I love the sea-blue lipstick she wore for the MV; it echoes what the lips of those who drowned look like. As she is a mermaid/siren, her lips show the sinister undertone to her nature. She will kiss you, but it will be a kiss of death.

This is probably the most beautifully executed melding of lyrics, background, costume and makeup that you've done yet. I was totally enchanted. The cave setting with the lanterns, the sea (of course!), the dress and fishnet belt, the sea-blue lips, the artful shots of the lady emerging from the sea, the harmony, the coming together at the end: perfect. My girlfriend used to sing this with me ok stage. I did a lot of Stan Rogers, Great Big Sea, Eric Bogle, Tom Paxton, Dreadnaughts and Arrogant Worms so a nautical theme was pretty constant especially later in the night when the occasional shanties were done. Capstans were the best. We have been split for 5 years now, and this wonderful performance makes it bitter sweet. Thank you for a brilliant piece here. Top notch work guys!

Tremendously beautiful and haunting. The addition of the guitar is perfect since the film soundtrack also has some Spanish sounding guitar influences in it and the setting and costumes, just wow! Definitely my favorite rendition hands down.
