Lanzarote, Canary Islands: Riding Camels

  • I ride a camel on Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. Timanfaya National Park is the hub of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, which is how the entire island of Lanzarote is designated. This "Fire Island" was shaped by the six-year period of constant volcanic eruptions between 1730 and 1736.

    I wasn't sure what that camel was going to do when it saw your GoPro...haha. And I liked that the woman was petting the camel behind her. The music also made me smile :) I didn't know there were camels in the Canary Islands either!

    I've never seen seats on a camel like that before - kind of a smart idea! Seems like a pretty big group! I like the different shots you were able to get! I have a much smaller travel channel than you, but I think you would like it if you wanted to check it out!
