Last weekend, Jlo, Snookmaster & I made another run to the South East Coast of Trinidad in search of a monster fish from the surf!
Although we had a struggle for bait and then to catch fish, we still ended up having a really good time! As we do on most of our adventures to that part of the island! I even managed to do some shell hunting and capture some cool footage on the drone.
Eventually I hooked into a really nice Gilbaka (Saltwater Catfish) from the surf and was able to take it home and make myself a great dinner! Blackened Catfish & Roasted Potatoes.

KoS me ent go lie watching your video had me trying my own catch and cook, I was amazed how good the onion powder and garlic powder seasoned a freshly caught fish, even threw in some paprika and it was even better....Fish On!!!

That is a big catfish I never had it.
When I was small we use get plenty of them in Manzanilla but we always threw them back. It looks yummy in the pan 😋

Pilot's Bay is further down Trinity as well. It's a big spread down there and sea wall is the least of it. It's just most known or common. Maybe next time how they switch spots while fishing in boats you can switch the shores along that stretch. Even at the end of ferrier circular by the Savannah you gets nice crocro pag and red fish right on shore
We did go to Pilot bay...Its where we were trying for bait...And we usually try 2 or 3 spots...If time permits...We usually just have a few hours to fish...So options are limited....Some days you get lucky and find the fish!

It actually was pilot bridge....That was right before rustville....It probably looked different than how you remember because it changes...What kind of fish you usually get there?

Nice fish bro. You’re not working those lures correctly. Try less retrieve action and let it sit, same thing with bucktails.
