After a ban for over 16 months, Haryana government has granted approval to construct stilt-plus-four floors (S+4) buildings in residential areas where the layout plan for building four dwelling units per plot or accommodating density of 18 persons per plot stands approved. It has also allowed owners to sell independent floors.
Under the new policy, the state has allowed the construction of four floors with stilts in sectors where the layout plan allows for the building of four dwelling units per plot. This policy also extends to plots adjoining 10-metre roads where the layout plan allows for the building of three dwelling units per plot, contingent on the inking of a mutual consent agreement with all adjoining plot allottees The decision comes just months before the state is scheduled to go for polls for the state assembly.

I bought a plot thinking I will construct a decent middle class house in a lean and less densely society, over the period of time demand grew for less expensive house in metros or bigger cities. Neighbouring plots are bought by builders and constructed stilt+4; families moved in and now no where this is a quite place.
Nexus of Builders, politicians, greedy business man and corrupt officials have ruined this country. They don't understand the meaning of city planning. North India especially cities like Delhi NCR are already plaguing with bad air, poor water quality, road congestion, conflict for parking, road rage. We are doomed in next 100 years for sure.
Basement allowed on 250 Square meter plots in huda sector/ licensed colonies, In video we said Its a 250 Square yard plots. it was just slip of tongue.
Everybody is happy which is good to see but there was a reason to ban 4th floor, has that issue been sorted? Has enough parking space created? Has infra strengthen to support additional floors? I don't understand what we achieved by 4th floor ban or by this resumption.
if there is Stilt + 4 on any side of plot then you dont have to take NOC from that plot or floor owner.

If the adjacent plot is already s+4 , then logically permission shouldn't be required from that plot owner(s). I read it somewhere as well. Are you sure of what you mentioned in the video?
